Jimmy installed constructed and installed the cabinets for my kitchen, which we renovated this spring. I felt compelled to leave this review after reading a very negative one about him.
I cannot speak to that reviewers experience with Jimmy. And owing to the detail, pictures and seeming sincerity with which the review is written, very likely what he shared fairly accurately describes his experience.
That being said I felt it also meaningful to share my experience with Jimmy's work as it was quite different.
This spring we renovated the kitchen of our small 960 sq.ft. bungalow. We did as much of the work as we could ourselves, including the demolition, general design, framing, drywall, and painting.
Of course we left the plumbing, electrical, tiling, finishing and of course the cabinets to professionals. Jimmy had been recommended to us by a friend whom had hired him to do their kitchen last summer.
Jimmy helped us choose a cabinet style and hardware which went with our general design. When it came time to have the actual installation work done, he was flexible about our ever-changing schedule.
In our case we were the ones who were late and our cabinets had been ready for some time. When he and his assistant installed them we were happy to see the cabinets were lovely and just as depicted.
Everything went fairly smooth, and only required two visits after the initial install to make everything absolutely perfect. I felt Jimmy was very reasonable with respect to pricing. Certainty not the cheapest cabinet guy out there, but often times is the case you get what you pay for.
Admittedly our project was small and nothing fancy, but we felt Jimmy deserved for us to share our experience too. I hope he is able to make right any issues with the less satisfied reviewer, or I hope that his experience was a just an unfortunate one-off.

I don’t recommend this contractor - he has a hard time sticking to staying on time and his word. Seems a bit off too.
