The Warriors of Hope applied for a community recovery grant to help us bounce back from Covid - not the actual illness - but from the way the shutdown had affected our team's communications, fundraising, and general operations as a breast cancer survivors dragon boat racing team.
We chose Clark Communications' bid and began the journey. It was a learning experience for both of us; Clark's about breast cancer and dragon boats; the Warriors about ourselves and how we were functioning as a Charitable non-profit team. Reviewing the strategic plan took care of that!
