I am reasonably pleased with the service and professionalism from Condeau. It must be tough to manage buildings with multiple residents and needs. At the same time, condo management companies are being squeezed on their fees. In my opinion, their fees are too low to provide attentive service but it's tough to convince condo boards to pay more for a service if it's optional to pay less.

If you ever purchase a property that is managed by this company RUN!!! I have lived in my condo for over 4 years now and this management company has been an absolute nightmare to work with. They are impossible to get a hold of, even in emergency situations. They also try to pin everything on the homeowner even when it clearly states in the condo documents what the condo is responsible for and what the owner is responsible for. On average it takes anywhere from 10-15 attempts to reach someone from the company to set up repairs. Even after you set up a plan of action they rarely actually follow it. I have roof damage over my unit from the excessive amount of rain and they are dodging all emails and phone calls. They said they will send someone to assess and fix the damage, but have yet to follow through on this for several weeks. If you work with this company get everything in writing and hound them incessantly to follow through on their commitments. It would be a happy day to see this company shut down and replaced by a company that is accountable and helpful to their residents.

This has to be one of the worst condo management company in the world. I can't understand how they stay in business for this long, I'm sure they are playing out side the rules, if you have them for a condo management find a way to get them out. By far the worst. They are corrupt as the company's they use are owned by there friends and buddies, who damage things around the properties but no consequences. They need to be shut down. If you check on your condo reserve they are miss using the funds. When you ask and address about funds they gang up and come after you. This is sick.

Communication is terrible, landscaping company they hired is allowed to destroy stuff and not have to deal with the consequences. Gisele wont reply to an email unless you send like 3 or 4. Always quick to jump on you for something but very unwilling to accept fault when they screw up, condo fees are always on the rise without warning.

Not sure exactly what the other reviews are complaining about, it sounds like they never actually took complaints with their manager to the company itself. I have had every concern I have ever had with the company addressed and have NEVER had issues with our Manager, Jeanette. She has bent over backwards to help us and always has the information we require to make an informed decision. Worth every single penny. She is able to answer all our questions about legality, options available for resolving a situation, even managed to get the city right of way documents for us to make a long term plan for our aging utilities. She was there for every emergency, and I am not sure that I would know how to manage things without her.

If you have complaints about a condo manager, perhaps you should ask to switch to her, if she has the availability (she is very good so I doubt that she does). Otherwise, I would take it up with the company they have been professional and addressed other concerns that I have had with situations where it wouldn't have been appropriate to bring Jeanette in (such as a entry hall that had a heater burn out, where the company arranged to have the issue taken care of in the middle of the night so I could go back to bed without having to figure things out myself).

It just made me sad to see the 1 star reviews on a company that has been nothing but gold for us.

Their property managers do not return emails or phone calls. The night before our AGM they changed our property manager so their employee wouldn’t have to answer for themselves. Will NOT be renewing their contract. Look elsewhere.

This is the most pathetic excuse for a condo management company I have ever seen. The Manager, Elaine is extremely rude, unprofessional and snarky. This company spiked our condo fees, allows their maintenance people to destroy property and the communication is absolutely pathetic.

Worst Condo Management in Calgary. They increase condo fees, lie about cost and find ways to scam people out of their money. Very shady company.
