Extremely slow, They will make you sit for no reason.. This shop may close it's doors due to the lack of labourers and work coming in the door. Nick will tell you that he used to get big sites, but doesn't anymore. Tons of work in Vancouver and greater Vancouver, just not this place. I'd recommend TLC for similar pay structure and due to the downtown location it's a pretty solid place.

In a year's time, I have had positive and negative experiences from both the employer and myself, to be fair, I've made errors that effect my placement, for example if I get removed from a site for any reason, I generally can't go back. And I have been asked off a couple sites.
As with anywhere, you will be dispatched and placed according to the dispatcher at the office. In my experience, the dispatcher creates opportunity and I thought hard about how to rate this, and decided 4 stars because there is one great dispatcher and one not so great dispatcher.
When the good one is on, there is ALWAYS work and when the other is on I've sat for a two week period not being dispatched while watching others. And this is consistent, when one is there you can expect to be sent out reliably, whereas with the other it really is uncertain.
Because I have had excellent customer service experience with the good dispatcher I thought it would be unfair to rate the legitimate 2 star rating available from the other. I just don't go when the other dispatcher is in office, because there are many other places in Surrey to go.
Because I have been treated very well here I would highly recommend to use CLS in the future, and judge for yourself about dispatching, because my situation may be as simple as character conflict, I just really find a shocking difference in abilities between the two dispatchers and have to take responsibility for my own mistakes.

I used to recommend Best Personnel for temp workers but now think perhaps this company has some merit of becoming the company I thought Best was. They have a a variety of construction workers including traffic controllers and skilled labour including a few carpenters. Worth giving them a try ?
