I cancelled my insurance with this company because they wanted to increase my premium by close to 100% year over year due to "inflation" (no claim history or change to coverages). 2024 inflation rate was about 2% in Canada. After filling out the cancellation paperwork in the alloted time they still choose to charge me well after that. They will not allow me to speak to management, will not refund the money they have taken, and are very rude on the phone when questioned about the charge. I recommend protecting yourself by putting a stop payment through your bank if you ever choose to go elsewhere. Fair to say customer service is not great.

Wouldn't go anywhere else. They have been my insurer since 2007.
Great people and great service. I have the Co-operators insurance on my car and today I had them insure my new motor home.

I have great dealings with Co-operators in Brampton but this location is questionable. It seems to me that they hire anyone. I reported that one of their employee access my personal information and was broadcasting my personal information to people and they still have her on as a employee. I believe that they dont care much about keeping client's personal information private. Isn't there a breech of privacy law? I have voice notes with this worker threatening me and my family and calling us nasty names and telling us how much cars we have and what we are paying for and they hire such a low live makes me wonder about the credibility of the company or the location (let me clarify). I was emotionally scarred during this personal breech of information and I still feel threatened with my information still being exposed to this employee. I would love for Kooman Agencies to take a listen to the voice notes threats that I have from this despicable employee and tell me if I should not feel threatened with my information exposed to the likes of this person.

Kooman Agencies is amazing! They are incredibly professional, honest and easy to deal with! The good people over there are respectful, easy to communicate with and will sit down with you and take the time to answer any questions you may have. I would recommend them to anyone!
