Went to cancel our insurance for our construction business and was slapped with several hundred dollars of cancellation fees - despite the fact that I re-read the policy that was mailed to us and there was NO mention of a cancellation fee underneath the "cancellation policy" section. I feel like we've just been robbed. Not only have we had to fold our business, but having large companies take advantage of you like this is astounding. The agent wouldn't give us a name or number on anyone else we could talk to but said her hands are tied. Thanks for not advocating for your clients and allowing companies like this to rip off people with surprise cancellation fees.
