Making some big changes to our little bungalow has been on our "one day" list for a very long time. We always had a rough idea of what we wanted (removing a wall between the kitchen and living space, updating the kitchen cabinets) but we weren't confident in pulling it all together on our own.

Meeting Natalie made the decision that much easier. Not only did she come up with a great design for our space ... she took the time to listen to us, understand our social and everyday life, and incorporate 2 styles that we love and make it a warm, cozy and functional home.

Doing a renovation like this was big for us, but Natalie, her team and the great contractors she uses made the process as stress free as possible. When we had questions Natalie was quick to respond and always able to make adjustments and take the time to explain the process as the project progressed. Her follow up is second to none.

The process of a designer suggesting furniture (all of it!) and artwork, area rugs, lamps and light fixtures was an experience and one that we truly weren't sure of at first. The detail that Natalie adds to this process to be sure that everything is exactly what we wanted, from comfort to style was fantastic.

Needless to say we would highly recommend Natalie Cox to anyone who is thinking of doing a complete home renovation or one single room. You will be so happy you made the same decision we did.

Marina was a real pleasure to work with. We contacted her after we had purchased a new sofa that just didn’t work with our other furniture items the way we thought it would when we ordered it. We contacted Marina to for her assistance to basically “fix” the room and make it work. Marina came to our home to see the room and immediately set to work. I was very impressed with her professionalism and “can do” attitude. I was worried that she would want to replace everything.. but Marina said she could easily work with what we had and would just make some tweaks and additions which was greatly appreciated. She was very professional and asked us numerous questions and we were most pleased that she was respectful of our wishes and concerns.

Marina returned to us with a proposed design very quickly. We were blown away with her attention to details and how she was able to introduce different elements in the room and make it look so very interesting. Basically she turned a boring room into something unusual. Your eye is no longer drawn to just the sofa but to the variety of things around the room. The end result is quite interesting and we couldn’t be more pleased.

The whole experience was wonderful. There was no pressure to purchase more than our budget would allow and Marina gave us more than what we asked for and on budget. We loved the fact that Marina chose the items for the room and brought a proposal to us as opposed to going around from store to store with her searching for items. And the best thing was that Marina returned to our home on delivery day with helpers who hung the large pictures for us. It was full service at no extra charge and we just loved that. It made the experience that much more hassle free and we were very grateful. We will definitely use Marina’s services again and highly recommend her. Her use of colour and design is fantastic and we couldn’t be happier with our new room! *See “before” and “after” photos attached.

As we talked with Natalie our paint project morphed into updating our kitchen with new countertops and backsplash along with a redesign of the island, removing the upper breakfast bar. The final result is beautiful and everything is so well coordinated and fits perfectly in the style and warmth we wanted to creat in our home.
