Friday May 21 2021; Requested a quote on for an Insurance appraisal, received an email reply "We are in receipt of your request and will have an appraisal contact you."
No one contacted me until May 25th by email again. "My name is Jason Mikes. Please forgive me, but when your appraisal inquiry was forwarded to me on Friday afternoon, it had been a hectic day, and I honestly cannot remember if I phoned you to provide a quote and ETA.
If I hadn’t please let me know, and I will follow up later in the day."

I emailed a reply;
Hi Jason

I do not believe I have heard from you yet.
You have an advantage;
You have all my contact info
I only have this email address
Testing my patience?
Thank You

Followed by an additional email;
I actually already gave you all the information you need to give me a quote.
So please Quote.
Thank You

This is his answer;

Hi Alan,

"Sorry, due to current work volume, we are unable to take on new clients at this time."

So after dropping the ball and not answering a request for a quote for more than 4 days.
This appraiser who is a Partner decided not to have direct communication and then just cancel or turn down the business.

Worse experience ever with Mr.DAVE MATKOVICH.
Absolutely not recommended!
$400/ apprasail fee,
and the appraiser appraised
2 new bed room+ 2 new laundry room+ 1 kitchen+ electrical upgrade= $4k increase in value.
Basically waste of money and time.
