Have been using Dave hill pharmacy for years but the last year has been nothing but horrible service! Put on hold for 10 mins, hung up on, when someone does serve you it’s usually with attitude. Have called for refills for my kids and got told that THEY would tell ME when a refill was due and then hung up. Picked up prescriptions 3-4 times in the last couple months where they don’t give me the refills I called for but give me refills I don’t need and charge my insurance for it. It’s sad to see a pharmacy that was so friendly and helpful turn to this…. Unimpressed!

If I could have given this pharmacy 0 stars I would. Unfortunately, the staff and customer service has been nothing short of disappointing. As an individual who is in and out of fort mcmurray for work, occasionally I need to get my prescription filled while I am in town. I can call multiple times to ensure there is no issue when I pick it up, however there is almost always an issue. While I was on the phone this evening trying to understand why there was a problem again picking up my medication I can hear in the background another individual getting upset with their pick up as well. I can call to pick up a certain medication, and have a different one filled that I no longer needed (something I have communicated with them prior- their internal communication and note system is faulty). Then to have the pharmacist talk to me like I am a child or with a learning disability, frustrated and asking her to speak to me like an adult she does not apologize and just says that’s how she talks to patients for them to understand, or that english is not her first language (her accent wasn’t bad, her english was well spoken and I can understand asian accents pretty fluently myself) so again speaking to me like I am incompetent because I am trying to understand how we can avoid this problem in the future was unnecessary. There is never any solutions and only excuses. This pharmacy would be doable if you never use a secondary pharmacy, I liked the hours but I would probably take my chances on waiting and hoping I make it to the next day. Also careful you don’t inconvenience the staff on their breaks because that will be your fault. Again, wish I could use this pharmacy but as they would say it’s “unfortunate” for me. If the lines of communication were fixed this is an unavoidable problem.

I had a problem with my insurance, it was saying "relationship error". The lovely lady at the drop off actually called the insurance, figured out the issue and got my claim to go through. I really appreciate the time and effort she went to in order to help me. Great place!

After using multiple pharmacies throughout town, I fully stick with Dave Hill now.
Very helpful, very fast, super friendly and the drive thru is an added bonus.
Elsayad, Ahmed is a prescribing pharmacist and he’s helped me out. I even get my puppy’s prescription from them!

Always great customer service. We live closer to several pharmacies, but we feel valued and are treated like real people at Dave Hill.
We came half hour after they closed without realizing, the cash registers were already shut down for the night, so he gave me what my little guy needed and asked me to come back to pay the next day! Dave and the team truly care. Quick, caring and professional, you can't ask for more than that, but on top of that they have a excellent hours and a drive thru, so when you or your kids aren't feeling good you don't even have to get out of the vehicle!

Went in for eye drops because I got conjunctivitis from my son. Both eyes are glaringly red, I have a cold, and my son's left over prescription was helping great until it ran out. This pharmacist didn't even look at my eyes let alone have a care in the world to help me. She simply read from a list and then told me I need to see an optometrist because I could have a scratch. If she would have taken 1 second to look at me maybe some common sense would have kicked in. Scratch in both eyes? Really!? The drops would have burned and quite the coincidence that my son also had it. I'm well aware of what I have and this person had no interest in helping me. Terrible experience. What's the point in having a prescribing pharmacist.
