Going into our kitchen reno I reached out to a few local companies to see what they could offer and get my initial impression on them. We reached out to Summit Cabinets, Gem Cabinets, a local one that i forgot the name of, Ikea and Costco -who uses Kraft Cabinets. Of all the quotes and initial designs--Delton Cabinets was the only original one that showed the Designer, Cindy, clearly took a few more minutes to look at the space and to try to create something that would work in our space. Everyone else presented me with very similar designs that was a bit dishartening as we ourselves were stuck with coming up with a layout that worked, which was part of the reason we wanted quotes and ideas to see which company would be the most creative and custom.

Cindy at delton was amazing to work with from initial quote through the whole design process. She gave me a realistic timeline--which they stuck with very closely. Everyone around me kept saying expect delays--and I was very happy with the lack of delays the Delton provided.

They also manufacture the cabinets in edmonton unlike Gem and other companies that manufacture out of province. This came in handy when a corner cabinet was delivered with some damage--they had to rebuild it and I thought it was going to take. weeks---it took half a day. They rebuilt the cabinet in the city and had it brought out the same day causing minimal delays for install day.
They ended up staying till 6pm to complete the install.

We ordered our counter tops through Delton as well--they usually use quantum countertops. They used to use PFform countertops who we had reached out to ourselves at first to see if we could get a better price and other products but the customer service for PF form countertops was unfortunately lacking which I had been warned by our Designer--She was right.

Going through Delton for counter tops was also a great idea because it was coordinated by Delton and it was great because they were in the very next day to measure and we had our countertops installed in less than two weeks. WE only went without a kitchen for such a short time and I know this was due in part to Delton Cabinet's project managing.

Delton is the way to go for cabinets--not only are they local, they fabricate locally, and have EXcellent customer service and an excellent design team.

Cindy Donaldson from Delton Cabinets in Edmonton, AB and their menufacturing staff are excellent! I ordered all new kitchen cabinets and a new ensuite bathroom vanity from Delton and they are absolutely beautiful! Cindy is highly experienced in this area and would be a great choice for anyone looking to purchase new cabinets. The quality is top notch, and the price was reasonable.

We had an excellent experience from start to installation of our kitchen. The sales team were able to snswer all our questions. And we were able to get a custom kitchen within our budget, and reasonable build time. There were no unexpected surprises.

Delton was subcontracted through my primary contractor to replace our cabinets. They did a very poor job on installation with significant delays. They finished the project months behind schedule. They had to rebuild our corner nook 3 times, and it still wasn't installed properly (variable gaps around the seating and mitre joints misaligned). They damaged a cabinet hoodvent and it took a month to replace delaying all further work on installation. They took short cuts with very poor attention to detail on installation. They damaged cabinets and someone put in white trim filler to get out of having to replace them. We only found out when we went to wipe them down and white trim filler came off exposing the damage. They were very slow to address concerns, and I got a sense of 'delay and eventually you will run out of patience'. They were not a cheap venture either, so this is not a 'get what you pay for' situation. Honestly, I cannot recommend them for your cabinet needs.

The whole team; from design, measure, install and problem solving was fantastic! We had a very positive experience with Delton. Our kitchen looks great, we have lots of room for everything. The refacing looks good and the new uppers are perfect. Delton followed up on all small issues to ensure we were satisfied. This is how all companies should treat their customers.
