Overall decent facility, nice staff and convenient location (though not a lot of parking). Wouldn't recommend it for return-it express. Consistently short a bag in the counts. Pretty sure someone is skimming bags from the express because customers cannot dispute it. Drive down the street and go to the United Boulevard Recycling and Waste Centre for return-it express and more importantly accurate counts.

Please explain your response for the 8 cents and your response to another review that you proved 10 cent refunds to all alcoholic beverage containers. Not too sure why you’re providing different answers.

Did express and go. It was my first time here.
I was Shorted one full bag. Still waiting on the refund for that.
I also did not realize that they return less than the 10 cent amount. Apparently they counted 308 cans and i was only given $28.76. If they’re giving back 10 cents per bottle/can then i’m not sure how that adds up. A bit of a rip off. I am never going back.

This place is clean and big and the staff are great; however, they are consistently very late on processing bags dropped off at Express. It doesn’t instil faith in their sorting because basically once your bag is dropped off, it’s entirely out of your hands. Then, it’s just a gruelling waiting game and the longer it goes on the more you begin to distrust that they will be counted in the first place. The Queensborough Return-It Express is much faster in processing bags, often the credit will show up within 1-2 days. At this Return-It it can be well over a week - for just one bag.

I will go back to dealing with bridge traffic in favour of a Return-It that has been consistently more reliable.

Hi there,
I brought a small appliance to this location to be recycled. Because it was a warranty scenario I needed “proof of disposal” Although this is not part of the services they provide, Amanat was very helpful. He went beyond the call of duty. He was friendly and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend this business.

I find this recycling depot better than some other ones in my area because they take an assortment of recycling items like electronics, styrofoam, other plastic packaging, light bulbs, batteries, etc. They have parking right in front and is usually not too busy. They keep their facilities and equipment cleaner than other places. They keep their carts, tables and trays pretty clean.

The usual lady that works there is very friendly but they seem to have hired new staff and some aren’t as familiar with the recycling items.
