Terrible company that doesn't stick to schedules. They are not supposed to start picking up before 7am and yet when I go to put my recycling out at 6:45 my entire street and multiple blocks down is already done. Call right at 7am and I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes already apparently due to a high volume of calls. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

We are very diligent in the different items that go into our garbage/organic and glass bins but we didnt see this coming.
Emterra wouldn't empty both waste and organic because the bins were to close to each other,lmao.YET,the driver took the time to write out the reminder slip ,get out of his truck and stick it to our bin.How about dump the bins,leave a reminder to please separate the bins more then 6-7inches so this isnt a reoccurrance.

Emterra for the most part takes our recycling. Some of there employees that work on the trucks, need to be more respectful, and keep tempers in check. (Throwing bins around and breaking them) should not be tolerated. Some of the staff are awesome, thank you for being awesome. The recycling bins only get picked up every 2nd Friday so they at times get over filled, our apologies. Would nice to see pick up every Friday. I get it's a thankless job at times, so to the staff who care thank you.

This company left our recycling strewn all over the top of the driveway if there is one thing they don’t like in the bin they won’t pickup!! It’s just a ongoing problem with them. It’s just easier to put everything in the garbage I think!!

For years I have been coming home to recycling on my lawn, recycling that is definitely recyclable and for some reason does not get picked up. Instead, it ends up on my lawn and the street getting absorbed by our earth, nice.

Just an edit, I bring my recycling elsewhere now and will continue to do so from now on. I’m not going to wait with a camera to catch employees littering like I'm some Karen, just to get management to mention it during a lunchbox meeting.

If you can't separate your recycling properly just throw it in the garbage. It's where most of it ends up anyway. How about if Emterra wants our paper and plastic they have to PAY for it. 👌😅. And they say harassment and bullying isn't allowed among employees yet they won't enforce it. I could have fixed the problem but would have been fired so I quit. Management is useless.

We pay an INSANE amount of property taxes for Bi weekly garbage pick up in the foothills. The man who comes around biweekly is so gracious enough to get out of his truck and leave a sticky note on the bin that they were placed too close together with the bin from our suite. He has the audacity to get out of his seat and leave a note on the bins and not empty the full to the brim cans for another two weeks. Leaving us with NO garbage disposal for a month. We have a family with a child in our basement and a family of 4 upstairs. 3 children disposing of diapers and pull-ups etc we have no where to empty our trash for another two weeks. Why are people so lazy these days? What happened to some kindness and constructive feedback? Why are we paying more annually for poor quality services.
