Enviromold was referred to us by our home inspector after we were victims of industry fraud. Jason was very knowledgeable and courteous to deal with. However what impressed us the most was his honesty and the quality of work his partner James left behind. Wow!! what a difference compared to the other company we had initially hired! We would recommend Enviromold to anyone, make it your one stop and shop no more for your trusted mould removal experts!

I have been concerned about my brother's allergies for sometime now and finally got around to doing some investigation.
I purchased an air quality monitor from Amazon and tested the his bedroom's air; thankfully the results came back with no indication of any issues with HPOA (formaldeyhyde), VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds), PM (particulate matter), or Temperature. Humidity was a little high, but our house is humid in general as we have a large amount of tree cover and the house is usually quite cool.

I decided to buy a mold test kit and see if I could get some information that way.
The kit is extremely easy to use, just pour the growth medium (a dextrose solution) into the petri dish, and leave it uncovered for around an hour. Put the lid on after an hour and seal the dish. Wait for a couple of days. After 96 hours I got some mold. Just small amount of penicillium which are not particularly harmful and relatively common in households.

I searched the room and couldn't find any obvious mold on the walls, carpet, baseboards, crown moulding or anywhere.

At this point I contacted Enviromold off a recommendation from Purair.
I spoke with Jeff. I believe he is the owner. Jeff was great. He didn't try to scare me into thinking his services were absolutely necessary or my brother's health would be irreparably harmed. He spoke with me for a while and I gave him all the information I included here and told him I couldn't find the source of the mold.

Jeff said that they could come over and look for the mold, but before doing that and incurring the subsequent time and expense , I should do something easy and free : take my brother to the Doctor and get a Mycotoxin test.
This simple and free test, covered by MSP, would be able to show if my brother's allergies and other mild health issues were the result of mycotoxins in his system.

Amazing idea which my brother and I will be following up on when he gets back from his recent trip.
If we confirm that he does have mycotoxins in his system, then we will be ready to bite the bullet and pay for a thorough investigation to find the source of the mold.

At the recommendation of our home inspector and real-estate agent, we booked enviromold to remediate mould in our attic. Despite being very busy, they were able to fit us in during a cancellation. Geoff is highly professional. He explained everything he was doing and showed me the finished attic afterward. Geoff is also a super hero because it was a nice summer day and that attic was HOT. Geoff worked in there all day, with no complaints. After being in there for 3 minutes to check out the finished product, I honestly don't know how he handled the heat all day. I'm super appreciative that he got it done!
