Ford Keast has been handling my personal taxes for many years now and I've never had any issues. Taxes done right, good communication, friendly staff and a fair price. Tom and Kyle have been great.

On top of that, Ford Keast helped me along the way with my business. Ford Keast handled my incorporation, roll over of assets and all of the related GST/HST stuff that no one really understands except for a solid accountant (rolling from proprietor to corp). They now handle our year ends.

If you're looking to a solid accounting firm to handle the stuff you don't understand so you can continue to make money doing the stuff you do- don't bother looking any further.

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. I just got off a call with Shaun Brown and I would not recommend. My wife and I own a handful of companies along with a family trust. I guess we reached out to Ford Keast in 2021 to get them to quote our business (though I honestly didn't remember meeting with them) - and in the end decided to go with MNP. A lot has changed about our business/needs/partners/etc over the past 4 years, so we decided it was time to start looking for a new accountant. My wife reached out to Shaun to set up a call and sent him an email ton of context on our background, structure, and current accounting needs. Shaun accepted the request, booked a meeting, then rescheduled the meeting for today at 12pm for 1 hour. After hoping on the meeting, he proceeded to tell my wife and I that Ford Keast had already quoted our business in 2021 and they weren't interested in doing it again unless something had changed. Who sets a meeting just to tell you they don't want your business!!!What a complete waste of time. As a business owner, my time is valuable, and this guy completely wasted it! Not only that, he contradicted himself by telling me he didn't want to quote our business again as it would be wasting his time, when in the process he was doing the exact same thing to us! PLUS - he wasted more of his own time setting up this meeting to tell us that. IMO - I dont think he read the email my wife sent or prepped for the meeting at all. I think he looked us up in his system 5min beforehand only to realize this was business he had quoted 3-4 years ago and didn't get, and therefore wasn't worth his time. And fair enough. I can see some people not wanting the business after quoting it 3 years earlier. But why set the meeting and ask us to set aside time just to tell us that!!!! So unprofessional and inconsiderate. Never had this happen before....But it does make for a good story that I can use for training my sales reps on "What No To Do". Couldn't think of a person/company I'd recommend less.
