Mahmoud answered a time sensitive call, and came to site shortly after. He was prepared and extremely knowledgeable. The report was timely (and realistic) and he continued with the support to resolve the issue. I hired GES for geotechnical survey and service of my new home in North Vancouver between 2019-2021, and it probably the best decision I made in this entire project. My property presents lots of challenges for a new home development as it is on a steep slope. There are significant height differences between my property and the neighbouring properties of both sides, making it extremely difficult to secure the banks of the work-site during and after the excavation. The engineers from GES did a fanatic job of developing a feasible strategy to keep the job site safe while minimizing construction costs. They also held meetings with my neighbours to explain the work process and answer their concerns. This is critical as I did not want my project to disrupt the neighbourhood and put uneasiness in the minds of my neighbours.
I highly recommend GES to anyone who is looking for professional and friendly geotech services

We were fortunate to receive the information about GES Geotech Inc back in 2016 from from Canadian Central Engineering/ Ali Dehghani. We were asked for a "landslide"report from our Municipality. Dr. Mahmoud came to the Fraser Valley to take a look at the property and we arranged at his request a meeting with Municipal personnel. As it happened there was no way on Earth that for the proposed project and that particular property there was a need for a landslide report at all. We continued to deal with GES Geotech Inc team and they worked on our Geotechnical Report for the same property,
A couple of years later were in need to have an Environmental Report for another property in the same Municipality and we called Dr. Mahmoud. He is extremely pleasant to deal with, very polite and kind. He is an extremely busy person but he still takes the time to have a little chat.
All the work involved to get our Complete Environmental Report went very smoothly and with no delays.
We are very happy to continue to have Dr. Mahmoud's GEO Geotech Inc as our # 1 choice for geotechnical work and will highly recommend his services to anyone who is in need of the various services they provide.
