I have to say, I have lived in a GoSmart managed building for a couple of years and my feelings had been mixed. They are responsive in an emergency but often maintenance issues required quite a few follow ups to the point that it felt like we were harassing them, though eventually the issue would be resolved. The reason I'm writing today is a shout out to Victor. It has been a night and day difference in responsiveness and getting issues resolved in a timely and effective way. If this is the level of service we can now expect then I am beyond pleased with this management company.

I have mixed reviews, the elevator situation is a pain. One day it’s working and then without notice there is a tag saying out of use. They shut ours down for over 3 weeks and then we are still having problems.
Also the water , it seems every other month it’s shut down. Get someone who knows how to fix the problem and stop wasting money on the same people that put a bandaid on the problem ..
Other than that they seem to have a good handle on the rest of the care for our building.

Update – 1 Month Later
Due to Go Smart’s complete lack of communication, I now have water damage in my unit. As expected, I haven’t received any response from Go Smart (Hailey Rubner) since September 5th regarding this issue.

I currently own a unit managed by Go Smart and I *cannot* recommend this company. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Over the past five years, my experience has been nothing but frustrating — countless unanswered emails and phone calls, delayed or missed appointments, and a complete lack of accountability. Every single email I've sent has required follow-up, and I'm constantly told “the vendor will contact you,” only to be ignored again.

I’ve dealt directly with Lisa and Gabrielle, and communication with either has been incredibly difficult. Most recently, I had to escalate the issue just to get long-overdue window replacements — after being ignored for *two years*.

I'm actively looking to sell my unit just to be free from dealing with this property management company. Extremely disappointing.

Very happy dealing with everyone at Go Smart.
We have had them doing only financials for several years at our small 12 unit building and we recently switched to full management. Lisa & Gabrielle as the property managers as well as all other office staff have been amazing to deal with in so many ways and wish we would have switched to full management earlier. Keep up the hard work and big thanks for all you do everyday.

Extremely frustrating experience with GoSmart Property Management. Communication is consistently poor — you have to chase them multiple times to get anything done. Staff turnover is constant, so you’re always dealing with someone new who has no idea what’s going on. Overall, a horrible experience. I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable property management.

This is my first Google review, but I feel the need to echo the negative reviews about this company. I will keep it kind and simply say this company has some serious communication issues, and absolutely lacks professionalism. Like most of the other negative reviews that mention a manager by name, my negative experiences have primarily been due to Ming's apallingly poor management and people skills.

If your condo building is considering bringing this company on, don't walk – run! run! RUN!! – from them.

As a tenant/owner my experience with them they are so unprofessional. I have learned very fast dealing with them to put everything in writing that way I can recap when my email goes unanswered or if they have deaviate in any way from my request. If I do call, I get the generic version of we will look into it, and they never respond. My back porch went unfix for two years and it wasn't up to code, and I had to threatening them by calling the city before they finally decided to fix it and I am still awaiting a response on my tree that is bending towards my house.

i love when I call them and tell them " The Red Seal employee who threatned me yesterday and I had to call the police on, is back in my building and no one else from Red Seal is around, I dont feel safe !?! " and they respond " Don't worry, he's not there for you."
