My wife and I took our taxes into Joseph S. Greilach Professional Corporation for the first time. I work hourly and my taxes are usually pretty straight forward and my wife has a small business. When our taxes were completed everything seemed great and we both received a return. However approximately six months later we both received letters from Canada Revenue stating that our return had been re-assessed. The difference on my wifes return was over $2000 and the difference on my return was over $4000. This is no small amount and we were both very surprised to find out that we now owed money. We phoned Joseph S. Greilach Professional Corporation to see if they could figure out what happend so any issues could get fixed and so that we wouldn't have any issues the next year. We were assured that someone would look into it and get back to us soon. After about a month we didn't hear anything and phoned them again and once again we were assured someone would get back to us. This went on for months without ever receiving a single call back. Did they make a mistake and hope it would just go away? I'm not sure how small town businesses think that this is a good practice. We are now looking for a new accountant and maybe they can tell us what went wrong.

Do not go to them for business accounts brought an account in in October 2019 didn’t finish till march of 2020 would not return phone calls or requests said on the phone my account wasn’t priority.not educated on farm taxes Found multiple mistakes will have to take Last years taxes to new accountant to fix . horrible service not up to date on tax information and they will not call you back if you have questions. for a small town business they are not trying to gain business and do not care how there mistakes can affect your business. Plus they charge an arm and a leg for awful work
