We have never done a renovation or new build and our experience with Heronwood Custom Cabinetry was an 11 OUT OF 10 !! For our brand new Basement suite, from our first meeting with Kirsten and Jason (Owner) and then Ann Marie (Owner), to Wyatt (measure), Josh and Steve deliveries and finally RICK the Installer. What a seamless experience - Kirsten kept everyone including our Contractor and us informed and she was on point throughout. Ann Marie went ABOVE and beyond with ‘design’ help (Kirsten too)- Rick, the installer was meticulous in his set up, his work and his clean up after. We have recommended them to neighbour's and we definitely want to use them now for our own KITCHEN reno. Each staff member that we had the pleasure of meeting and especially Rick, are awesome representatives of a Local company. We have built eight homes over the past 19 years and Heronwood by far exceeded our expectations as far as design, workmanship, and installation of our cabinets. There was great attention to detail during the design process by Whitney, the actual cabinetry is of excellent quality, and the installation by craftsman Rick was first rate. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for cabinetry.

I’ve worked with Heronwood on two different occasions. They did our kitchen and the front desk area at my hair salon and they were fantastic to work with. Our kitchen replacement process was a LONG one! Not because of Heronwood, but due to other renovation issues that had come up in our home. Jason & his team were VERY patient with us.
It was definitely worth the wait! We are in love with our new kitchen design, cupboards, floating shelves, custom made oak bar over our island - everything! 💗
All members of the Heronwood team were great to work with.
We would highly recommend this local company for your renovation needs!

Beware. The finish does not hold up in the kitchen!.. "Only clean with dish soap and water"!! "You can not use any household cleaner"!! This is what I did… Cupboard door has been resprayed three times!! The Matt finish does not stay Matt!! Anywhere there has been contact with any cooking oil or or splatter around the stove, the finish turns shinny. I have been trying to get resolved, for almost a year now.. I kept getting pushback or no response!! I got my contractor to talk to them as well. ( He said that these brand new cupboards look like they are 30 years old!). I finally got an email last summer that they would look into and see how they could better seal the paint! They keep telling me that the paint booth is backed up and to wait. I am still waiting and they have not responded again… They also did a book shelf for me in which they measured wrong, They then tried to get it to fit by butchering the door trim and the drywall.. It didn’t work. I had to get my contractor to fix it….!! I understand things can happen, But what I do not understand and will not tolerate, is any business who could absolutely care less about their customer!!

Highly recommend! Meghan took us through process step by step of bringing our vision (for new home build) to conceptual drawings, also providing samples and decorating ideas for unique areas. Always worked with us in a timely manner and very responsive. With Jason's expertise, they were able to fine-tune and bring our ideas to fruition. Daryl and the installation team attended to every detail and were very communicative and reliable, and also on follow up visits. Quality workmanship from the craftsman team. Everything is perfect! We are very fortunate to have this local business. Thank you for your professionalism, expertise, customer care and for making our new house become the HOME we envisioned.
