DONT USE THIS PLACE!!!!! I wish I could give this place negative stars. Icon has by far been the worst agency I have ever gone through. From the very beginning, they changed my start date to sooner that I had planned on with out informing me. They did not give me the correct information for my on boarding. Every time I reached out to my recruiter, she was very short and impatient with me, like I was annoying her. Now my HR rep is “never at her desk” or on “vacation” and nor does she email or call me back. They are very rude. They never have answers to my questions and they pawn me off 2-4 times to find someone who can give me an answer which can take up to a week IF THEY RESPOND. After a few weeks being there, I noticed they weren’t paying me after getting a couple pay checks. They had gone 3 times without paying me and blamed it on my supervisor at the job I was contracted at. They had an “error” in the system that they “weren’t getting my time submissions” and “they would have to set me up a new account.” They were super unhelpful about getting me my pay. On top of that, their health insurance isn’t taken in most states and if it is, it’s 1 doctor that lives an hour from you. They don’t cover anything. They were taking out 2x more out of my paycheck for my health insurance, once I caught what was happening to my pay, they told me it was an “error” in their system and that they were “sorry”. The health insurance policy says that they start taking health insurance out of your paycheck 4 weeks before your insurance kicks in. Mine started from the second paycheck. They were taking it out immediately. It takes three months for Your health insurance to kick in with them. Once I caught them in yet another lie about starting to charge me my second paycheck that’s when they got really annoyed with me for catching them stealing from me . They have been doing this to Multiple people I work with and they pick and choose who they give money back to. HORRIBLE AGENCY!

I would like to say that my personal experience with Mr. Patrick Winters has been nothing short of exceptional!! I am not sure about the rest of ICON Consultants as an entity or how that runs, but Patrick is phenomenal. I absolutely love all the care and time he has taken with me on all calls, including interview preparation. From the first moment I spoke to him, he made me feel very comfortable and valued as a person. If all the employees at ICON are anything like Mr. Winters, ICON Consultants is by far, hands down THE BEST for the business they do. If the other employees are not like Mr. Winters they should reach out to him to see what he is doing to get it right and make individuals feel great and make everything run smoothly. Keep up the excellent work Patrick!!

Recently interviewed for a position owned by this company. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience! The recruiter I talked to was friendly and helpful before my initial interview and the manager I talked with was honest and a blast to meet. I may not know what goes on behind the curtain, but I loved talking to these guys. Good vibes all around.

DO NOT WORK HERE. THIS AGENCY IS DOWNRIGHT AWFUL.
•The person doing the onboarding is lacking in training.
•The recruiter I spoke with lied about the pay. The job description said one amount, then I was told something different.
•HR is unprofessional.
•The person that was in charge of my assignment called to confront me because I was annoyed with the person handling my onboarding (last name Winters). Unprofessional.
•While I was on assignment, they reached l out to me on LinkedIn about the same assignment but it paid more than what I was offered (same person with the last name Winters).
•I was supposed to be refunded on my final check for additional deductions that were on my first check. I was told it was going to be on my final check. Then I spoke to HR and she was snippy and full of excuses.
• The assignment I was on was a lie. They had me sitting there for months with no work.
You would be better off using another company.

I look at the good reviews and look at ICON"s nice website and scratch my head. It just doesn't line up with my experience. I have worked as a contractor through ICON (for another company) since April of 2020. My job is in Charlotte, NC. I will not name that company.
From the very beginning, I have been so disappointed with ICON"S lack of communication and concern for the contractors they employee. I have a co-worker, also a contractor for the same company through ICON, who feels the same way. It's like dealing with a bunch of robots. You get NO feeling of anything personal or professional from your contacts there. They have terrible communication skills. They don't return calls. When they respond to an email, it's almost like a cold, scripted response. I am not one to criticize or fuss normally. But seems like, from the very beginning, that's all I've done while working through ICON. It's like being an orphan or step-child. Nobody really wants to be bothered with you. Right now, as I type this, I've got questions regarding my contract. I've reached out to them to ask. I requested that a live human call me back. How dare me!! I just want to talk instead of email. So much is lost in translation in emails. But she hasn't called me back and I predict she won't. A. Parker

ICON Staffing has been an incredibly frustrating company to work for. I had to fight for over a year before they followed MA State law and allowed me to take the paid sick time that I was legally entitled to. They have tried to systematically deny me paid sick time even when the law states otherwise, and made the process of applying paid sick time incredibly difficult and unreliable. Icon staffing is currently not accruing any sick time for me, even though MA State law requires that they give me 1 hour of paid sick time for every 30 hours that I work. EMPLOYERS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE OF THIS BEFORE USING ICON STAFFING TO FIND CONTRACT WORKERS.

This has been the far worst temp. agency I have worked for. There is a lack of communication with the recruiters!!! I had to constantly email my recruiter, and then for her not to respond and dissappear. Then to call the office and leave her voicemails. My start date was pushed back twice, do to someone not processing documents correctly. My recruiter was the worse I want post her name but.. She's not good a communication. Hopefully my time, with the agency will get better
