I am extremely pleased with the services that I have received from Investmed. Dr. Branden Reid was very informative and after a conversation on what our concerns were, myself and my husband felt like we were finally going to have the answers that we were looking for with regards to our health. The clinic arranged all of our appointments and everything went extremely smooth. After our tests were completed, the doctor went through each report thoroughly. My husband and I were ready to fly out of Calgary to get full body scans but after doing a google search we came across invest med which was providing all the tests we wanted to do in one place. I searched online for a virtual colonoscopy and found InvestMed. After being denied this procedure twice by AH, I decided to pay out of pocket for peace of mind and to expedite a referral to a gastroenterologist if needed. Following a conversation with their support staff, I opted for a consultation.

I completed a medical history form and paid $200 for the consultation. I opted to meet Dr. Reid in person rather than through a virtual meeting. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and addressed my needs perfectly. He reviewed my medical history and explained how he would handle all arrangements, reports, and, if necessary, further referrals to local medical professionals.

I chose to receive enhanced bloodwork in addition to the virtual colonoscopy. If I had the financial means, I would certainly have pursued additional tests, as their menu of services was quite appealing.

The next steps involved attending the appointment for the CT scan they arranged for me and being at home when the service came to collect my blood. The process was quick and straightforward. My results were made available promptly, and I had a virtual meeting with Dr. Reid to discuss them. He thoroughly explained what was found and provided advice along with any recommended prescriptions, which were sent to my pharmacy.

I later received both a USB drive and a hard copy report of my results at home. I highly recommend InvestMed for any enhanced medical testing that may not be offered to you during your usual course of care or that simply doesn't provide sufficient depth.
