I bought a couch from these folks and Jeff helped me. I had some particular requirements because I have a small entry way and it’s a small room. Had a couch picked out in ten minutes and had great straight forward service. You would be surprised how many couches they have on the floor to test out. Much bigger show room than you would imagine. I got the delivery option for a great price. Couch was a great price too. The fellas that showed up to deliver the couch were friendly, professional and right on time. Would highly recommend buying from these guys instead of online where I had been looking. They had better prices and you can test the product out in their showroom before you purchase. I got exactly what I was looking for and I’m really happy with the service. Thanks very much

Kind of an overlooked place honestly. I have lived in Pictou County for almost 30 years and the first time I actually went in was just a month ago. Wish I had of stopped in sooner. Great selection right on hand, and the staff were awesome.

Be Ware- I found they have a rating with Better Business but are not actual members. My experience they go to great lengths to justify their actions but not to address the real problem. Its always pass the buck, blame someone else while attacking the client. The person from their head office refused to allow us to talk with the owner and i found his ethics to be lacking if he had any is my view from the abuse i got on the phone. Very troubled about this extremely poor quality sofa and in fact the whole process of a brand I always thought was the go to brand for quality . After the first two weeks the foam on the sofa on either end was flat and not offering any support as especially on the one end you ended up sitting on the frame.

To have the foam deteriorate in two weeks was not what I would expect on a Lazy Boy sofa. The dealer advised they would get hold of Lazy Boy and see about ordering new foam. However they did not expect to new replacement foam to last and would need to be kept being replaced until the warranty ran out then I would be on my own. It was suggested we order the new foam from Lazy Boy but not use it. Instead their furniture repairmen could order a higher density foam from his sources. By doing this way Lazy Boy would cover the labour but I would have to pay for the upgraded foam. The repair person advised he could order either 10 year of 15 year foam. We agreed to the 15 year foam and had top pay $160.43 cents for the better foam. Although to have to pay for new foam after only a couple weeks seemed very wrong and unfair plus sure sent a negative message about Lazy Boy quality. Surly a Lazy Boy sofa last more than 2 weeks.

Now after just over two weeks the so called better foam is almost as bad as the as the foam that came with it. Dealer suggested maybe they sold us the wrong sofa as this is a type of sofa is meant be soft or wrap around comfort and comes with a very light density foam To me soft is one thing but to have foam so bad you sit of the frame something is wrong.

Dealer suggested we contact Lazy Boy as we probable need a different style. I was actually surprised at this as I would have expected that if this is accurate they should be the one reaching out to Lazy Boy not use. If there is such a thing as light weight foam for the wrap around experience than the dealer should have never suggested such a sofa I the first place.

All we know is after 3 months of owning this sofa and about 3 weeks waiting for new foam that is was really unusable, we have already replaced the foam once at our expense and now needs to be replaced again. Seems to spend this type of money, then pay for better foam something is terribly wrong if this is the quality of sofas Lazy Boy Peddles and or the customer is the one that must get hold of Lazy Boy not the dealer leave one with a pretty poor overall experience.

Finally after many distorted facts from the store to Lazy Boy. Lazy Boy had then refund the money and take the sofa back but they refused to pay the money back that I had to pay for the new foam they made me pay, in spite of them forcing me to get it. Sad was about to buy new appliances etc but rather than admit there were wrong and do what is proper they chose to leave a very bad taste and lose future sales. Guess they have enough business they don't care how they treat people. I do think their head office is the reason to a larger extent why they acted as they did.

One thing that really stands out is the outright LIES they spew. First they did advise me to put new foam in it, their trucked picked up the sofa and took it their repair person and then brought it back. Its SURE sends a very strong message that they cannot be trusted when they dare to respond with outright LIES. I have 100% proof they are speaking lies

Purchased a Samsung Washer Dryer from Rahey in New Glasgow NS. Had it delivered but they did not install it, level it properly. Called back to complain and they basically were not interested in fixing the problem only saying to call Samsung. So called Samsung got the total runaround there. Guess What! Samsung does not even have a repair person who services the New Glasgow area. My advice. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM RAHEY AND DEFINITELY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT IS MADE BY SAMSUNG. TERRIBLE SERVICE! VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. I ONLY GAVE THEM ONE STAR IN THIS RATING AS I WAS FORCED TO CLICK ON SOMETHING TO DO A REVIEW. MY REAL RATING IS MINUS 10 STARS!!!!!
