It is a real pleasure to write a positive review for Jacqueline and her team.

As a senior woman on her own, selling a Cobourg home and moving to Calgary could be considered a fairly daunting task. Jacqueline and her team made it totally stress free.

They looked after everything: cleaning before and after, getting an inspection done before the buyers' could even ask for it, staging, getting rid of the things I downsized (by selling them, getting them to the dump, thrift stores or to new people just starting out), providing all the moving materials (and there were a lot!), helping with the packing and even meeting and supervising the moving truck on the day they came to get my furniture.

Several incidents really stand out for me. One - About 30 minutes before a scheduled showing, my smoke alarms started shrieking so I could hardly hear myself think. Greg was there within minutes to take care of it. Two - the day I finished packing up my vehicle, I realized I didn't have room for everything I wanted to take. All I had to do was leave it on the dining room table. Chelsea came in and packed it all up for me before the movers came. Three - when I came back from my Calgary house-hunting visit in early November 2024, I had planned to list the house in time for the traditional "spring market" around the middle of February. I was shocked when Jacqueline suggested I list it right away. Her rationale was that many vendors had not adjusted to prices going down. She believed that, come spring, there would be even more on the market to compete with my home. She suggested we get ahead of the curve. It turned out to be a good strategy. At the time, I was the only one for sale; i.e. no competion in my complex. After I sold, there were at least 3 other homes competing with mine.

Her "wraparound" service is about 1% more. She would have done the "basic" service for less. It was worth every penny. I never, ever felt upset, stressed or overwhelmed.

I will say that, to me, Jacqueline does not give off a warm/fuzzy vibe. Sorry, Jacqueline 🙁 I am a hugger but would never think of hugging her. Even so, she demonstrated her professionalism, caring and attention to detail in all of our dealings. "Thank you", Jacqueline. And "Thank you" to your team. I could not have done it without y'all.

Downsizing after 47 years in our family home could have been absolutely daunting. However we were very fortunate and appreciative to have Jacqueline and her team take us under their wing as they were there for every step of the process with packing, purging , content sale, cleaning and communication. Unaccountable. Ungrateful. And now DISHONEST.

Jacqueline's response to my review that she has never interacted with me or sold us a home is a lie. Just because my name isn't on the agreement doesn't mean it's not my home, and she is allowed to treat us poorly since my name isn't on her commission cheque. Calling my profile fake to discredit an honest review is unethical and self-serving.

Beware. Please find a better realtor who is deserving of your hard earned money.

This review is in response to Jacqueline's husband's review reply negating my family's experience, of which he was not even a part of.

He has asserted that we chose to work with a small local business only to defame them on Google Reviews.
It is completely illogical and blatantly absurd that my family would choose to support a small business and give them $10s of thousands in the process, only to leave a negative review. To outright dismiss a collective experience of 4 people is beyond comprehension.

My partner purchased a home for his dad and utilized Jacqueline as multiple representation. Post-purchase when dropping off the deposit cheque, and viewing the house for our first time, Jacqueline was cold to both myself and mother, and chose to ignore us for our time together in the house. She made us both feel very uncomfortable and very unwelcome for what should have been a celebratory moment. My mom was in shock. Jacqueline did not even congratulate my partner and his father on their purchase. There was absolutely no reason for this odd behavior from our own realtor and to this date we received zero apology or accountability from Jacqueline. Surely she is not that inept at realizing how she treated us.

Later, in watching her social media videos online, was not even close to the person that we interacted with that day.

Dishearteningly, what you are ignoring is that you had already won. You had gained us as clients-- the hardest part of any realtor's job. You just failed to keep us.

There is absolutely zero incentive in providing accurate honest feedback for us other than hoping a business can learn and better themselves for the future.

Instead of deflecting, try to focus more on honest client feedback-- not only on Google stars and commission cheques. Be accountable. Be grateful. Just simply do better.
