On more than one occasion I’ve had the pleasure of not only working with, but hiring K and M to do countertop installation for me.
This is one very dynamic duo with Victoria located at their shop location in Parksville and Mike doing the installations etc. You are dealing with not only a very professional but extremely friendly and endearing couple.
Mike’s work is fantastic. I’ve recently had all new countertops put into my place And everyone who comes in notices them and makes a positive compliment on how they look. Victoria’s eye for colour is fantastic. I’m sure she could be an interior. I brought a little sample of a back Installed as as well as the paint chip, she picked a countertop for me, which is , without being too overstated, the best choice I could have. Few companies can be called this is one of them! Thank you again, Victoria and Mike 👏

Hired The Best!

We bought an outdated, but charming, duplex demanding extensive renovation. New to Vancouver Island, we were unsure as to what suppliers to contact. We drove around and discovered family-owner-operated KM Countertops in the Parksville Industrial Park. Our plan was to obtain quotes from different companies and choose one.

As soon as we met Victoria Bleaney, we knew that we were in good hands. We brought her samples of our selected engineered hardwood flooring and wall paint color as well as photos of a Silestone countertop that we had previously used. She asked practical questions and offered suggestions. We settled on a countertop and placed the order on November 22nd. Taking into consideration the Christmas holiday, Victoria advised 4-5 weeks for installation.

Using a Digital Template, contractor, Ryan Thompson, arrived to take a precise visualization of the layout and measurements of the counters required. He explained that stone countertop materials come in slabs and need to be cut and shaped correctly. Before leaving, he took five minutes and assisted us to remove a mirror from above the fireplace.

Victoria's hands-on husband, Mike, called us December 23rd to advise installation on January 3rd, and, and on that morning, called with the time that the crew would arrive if that was convenient for us! Hell, yes! Dan and Trevor arrived, removed the old countertops and installed the new which were smoothly perfect and beautiful. The crew cleaned up, debris and all.

Mike then asked us what we were going to do with the panel (which was unsightly) in the kitchen. We said that, so far, we had been unsuccessful in finding a resource to cut a new panel for us. He said that he would contact a cabinet maker next door to the KM workshop and have it made for us. We gave him the dimensions and he immediately texted the carpenter. When he looked at our car, he said that he would deliver the panel as well. Wow.

We hope that we have communicated the professionalism and amazing customer service of this company. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
