Sandra is amazing, so kind and supportive in her teaching! After struggling with nipple pain, doing a proper latch and feed on the left side with my newborn I felt so discouraged and emotional. I contacted Sandra and she actually was able to come the same day, I thought I knew a lot about breast-feeding, but she taught me so many things and my baby fed happily on the left side for over half an hour by the end, And breast-feeding has been so much easier since Sandra’s visit. I can’t recommend her enough!

Incredibly unprofessional consultant left me in tears and ashamed. Offered me a refund for the experience and then decided she wouldn't refund me after all, but harassed me with constant texts and phone calls defending herself. Total disaster, thankfully I found another lactation consultant who is a Registered Nurse, and my son and I have had unbelievable results.

Your message claims you only reached out to "clarify next steps," but the number and tone of your messages and calls went far beyond that. It felt invasive, not supportive. You also told me you'd provide a refund, then changed your mind—this was not a misunderstanding, it was a promise you later withdrew. Being distressed wasn’t just a reaction to the consultation; it was the result of how I was treated afterward, too.

I’m sharing my experience honestly so others can make informed decisions. I’m relieved to have found a compassionate, qualified professional elsewhere, and I hope you take real steps to ensure no other parent feels the way I did.

I had such a lovely experience with Sandra. I e-mailed her one night when I was just about ready to give up breastfeeding with my 3 month old baby. It was on Easter weekend so I figured that I would have to wait all weekend to see someone. Sandra called me back almost immediately and treated me with the most priority. She came the very next day during the holidays and was so patient with my baby and I. She didn't treat our session as if it was timed to end right at the 1.5hr mark when she saw that we needed more time. She stayed and kept persevering until my baby was able to finally feed on me. She ended up staying 3 hours! Sandra is so compassionate and so soothing and was the reason I was able to stay calm during such a stressful time. She continued to reach out regularly to check up on me and she really made me feel like the most important person on her list at all times. She even went to the store and personally dropped off an item the next day that would help with my babys oral training, when I could've gone to the store myself to get it. Now my baby and I are effectively breastfeeding after 3 months of struggling with it (and thinking I already knew all the tips and tricks from talking to nurses and watching online videos).

I would 100% recommend Sandra over and over again for your LC needs! Thank you so much Sandra
