THIS IS HOW MY PARTNER AND I HAVE BEEN TREATED BY THEM WHEN WE HAVE NEVER MISSED OUR RENT PAYMENT AND HAVE MAINTAINED THIS PROPERTY LIKE IT WAS OUR OWN FOR THE LAST 10 MONTHS.

I have been renting from them for 10 months. When we moved in the house was filthy and the yard was unkept. It took my partner 4 hours to mow the lawn because it was THAT unkept. They said it would be mowed before we moved in and it never was. We found old mouse traps in the basement and mouse poop in the closets. Now 10 months later we had a technician come look at our stove because the 2 burners dont work and he found 2 dead mice fused onto the controls in the back of the stove that we cook on every single day🤢 when I brought this up they offered no apology and told me theres no compensation because my stove STILL WORKS🤣 I will add my 9 month old daughter also found dead mice limbs and was eating them from the floor that had fallen out of the stove. They ignored all my emails all day about this issue and then Carolyn Hackett (one of the main property managers that works there) responded to me 15 minutes before her day ends saying I don't get compensation cause my stove still works even though this is a legit health and safety issue. They have not come and checked on our rental once in the almost year of living here.
THEY DO NOT MAINTAIN THEIR PROPERTIES! I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY THEY ARE AWFUL.

I have been renting with libertas for 5 years now, They are great and from my experience fair. They have always been proactive. An example would be my furnace was broken and immediately someone was here to repair it. The maintenance guy suggested to the company that my ducts needed to be cleaned. And within 2 weeks, someone was here to do that.

Great company. If you are a good Tennant, they treat you with respect, and sometimes I forget I am even renting!

Living in this condo has been an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The amenities are top-notch, including a well-equipped gym, and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces perfect for relaxing or socializing.

The unit itself is modern and spacious, with large windows that flood the rooms with natural light and offer stunning views of the beautiful neighborhood. The kitchen is a dream to cook in, with high-end appliances and ample storage space. The bedrooms are cozy retreats, and the bathrooms are luxuriously appointed.

One of the highlights of living here is the sense of community. The neighbors are friendly, and the building hosts monthly know-your neighbor gathering that make it easy to connect with fellow residents.

The location is unbeatable, with shops, restaurants, and parks all within walking distance. Plus, the building is well-maintained, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with my decision to call this condo home. It offers everything I could ever want and more, making it the perfect place to live. Well deserved 5 stars 🌟

I have lived in a Libertas Property Management building, for 2 years, now going into my 3 year. I really enjoy living in this building, most other tenants are very very nice and helpful, as is also the building management team. As a tenant, the office and management team we have worked together in a very nice setting to get both of our needs met. It is done with respect and dignity on both sides. It is so nice to deal with a landlord who works with a tenant to come to a mutual understanding!! Libertas Management understands what tenants needs maybe and comes through for them, when they are aware of an issue, that comes up, but also is fair when doing it, because they also need to watch their bottom line. Which is totally understandable, and as a tenant you should also realize that!! Working together is the answer!

We have been working with Libertas for the last 10 years and as an owner we have nothing but great things to say about the LPM team having worked directly with many of them, but especially Carolyn. Always super responsive, professional, and informing us what we need to do to get (reasonable) top dollar in the market. You can tell they are always doing what they can to take load off so that we can have peace of mind and trust our properties are in good hands.

I originally had some communication struggles with Libertas Property Management (LPM) before their new management team took over. However, after their revamp a few months ago, the new staff has been fantastic, and the service has drastically improved.

Zhaishan, in particular, has been amazing throughout my moving-out process. He streamlined everything, including the return of my security deposit, and was incredibly easy to contact. Even when I had a question on a Sunday, he responded quickly and was very helpful.

Overall, Zhaishan is a great guy, and I would highly recommend him and the team. 10 out of 10 experience!

I rented from a lovely couple for 10 years that unfortunately used this company. They never sent anyone to check the property as stated. Luckily i had their contact information for issues in the home. I could have literally trashed the place for 10 years and moved out and the landlord would have not known. The issues I needed fixed were absolutely hired out by sub par companies, at times I believe the "managers" had their spouses do "tasks". We had a fridge in the basement that they sent people to remove. They banged up the walls hauling it up the stairs. I requested the bathroom door to be fixed/reframed and after 3 attempts the best it did was close, not latch. They hired a flooring company that sent over hungover drunks (I can post pictures if requested). The windows didn't shut so they sent someone who jammed it shut after removing the screen and throwing it under the deck. The list is really endless. Despicable company. Do NOT trust your investment with these morons!

Terrible management company, was always home when they had 'scheduled' for maintenance to come (supposedly every 3 months) yet no one ever showed up, we never made complaints, requested maintenance or had really any communication with the company during our rental period. Tried letting Tyler know, in written email, when we could do our move-out inspection almost a month and a half in advance to the end of our lease and heard nothing back, was then asked by Carolyn when we could do it a week prior to our move-out date and let them know we were free for an entire day (seeing as we had been ignored in the past we figured we would let them tell us when it would be scheduled on a day we had let them know was fully available), was never acknowledged. Waited all day at the apartment for Carolyn to show up to do our inspection but she never showed up, called or emailed, after emailing her at the end of the day we then were notified that all of her appointments for that day had been cancelled due to car problems... not a big deal if we had been notified in the AM and not wasted a whole day. She tried telling us that since we were never given a set time that we would have to do our inspection another time, seems like she was just trying to save face as we had let them know multiple times when we were free and could schedule the inspection. After explaining our displeasure of not being notified about her not coming at all, and that we were leaving town the next day and wouldn't be available for an inspection, we were ignored for another 5 days, which then we were then asked again if we were available for an inspection a week after we had moved out... which according to Alberta Tenant Laws, all inspections are to be completed within a week prior to or after move-out. The communication within the company and provided to their clients is absolutely terrible. All of this was through email, therefor its not hard to show the receipts of the communication as well.
