I'll start with the positive...

New clubhouse is outstanding and the Jalapeno Burger was delicious.

Staff was friendly and course conditions were above average. Front 9 more playable than back 9... Beginners would have a hard time on the back.

I arrived early and had lunch and then was informed I could get out there early (alone) if I wanted. I accepted that offer and was told to go to the first tee when ready. Everything was going well until hole 3 when a shotgun start tournament overtook the front 9... I guess they should have told me to start on 10...

I managed to get through a few groups to number 6 but was extremely frustrated. Marshall saw me and advised me I be better off going to hole 11 or 12... Good plan and I did manage to get 16 holes in by the time I had enough of the slow play and I wasn't ready to jump into the shotgun for my last two holes.

The marshall did mention I could get a rain check from the start (but I'm not from here) and then on 18 he mentioned I could keep playing on other holes.

Satisfied with how the staff handled everything after the initial gaff but it was just awkward to be in the middle of the tournament. I play a lot of golf and this is the kind of thing that leaves a sour taste...

The course was in great shape and the staff were great! The club house is beautiful and the drinks and food were awesome. Love the food delivery option to any hole. Staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcomed. I will definitely come back.

A couple of months before my daughter's wedding, I reached out to Alex to see if I could organize a golf outing for our wedding guests (a couple days before the actual wedding). From the start, Alex was incredibly accommodating, he understood and welcomed the fact that several people in our group had never played golf before, and many only spoke Portuguese.

Alex suggested we play a best ball format, which turned out to be a fantastic idea for our group, and he even provided us with 3 sets of rental clubs to share amongst the newbies and a special rate considering the varying experience levels. Although Alex didn’t arrange for the bus, both he and Josh went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly when we arrived.

On the day of the event, the pre planning paid off as Alex thoughtfully scheduled our tee time to coincide with Ladies' Night, allowing us to play without the pressure of other groups behind us. Josh greeted us warmly upon arrival, and the staff at the restaurant, and cart service were exceptional, making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of.

Our guests couldn't have been happier with the event and the warm, friendly atmosphere at Maplewood Golf Course. A huge thank you to Alex, Josh, and the entire team at Maplewood. What a fantastic place to share a special day with your new family!

Great service and nice greens for a small town course.

Great golf round, nice course. But course needs a starter or more frequent marshalling to keep teams moving. 2-some snuck out in front of us that we know was supposed to play with another 2-some behind us and slowed play all round.

Excellent golf course. Very friendly staff. Beautiful new club house ! Congartulations on the new place. My wife and I enjoy a short 9 hole visit once every year in early September. Look forward to next years visit.

Course was in good shape. Clubhouse looked awesome and the food was amazing. 1st trip to Maplewood. Might need to head back next month.

Have played Maplewood GC before (last year) , really like the way they expanded to 18 holes ! Holes 11 & 16 are a true test to any level of players ! Will definitely return again this season ! ⛳?️
