I’ve been working in Miipe since 2019 and now I’m on maternity leave missing work and everything about work! Most of my friends dwell on work and their working environment but I always noticed that I loved working for Miipe as it’s due to the following very simple reasons:

1- There’s a very thorough performance review every year that gets reviewed by your manager and the CEO himself. This is a chance for you to be heard and evaluated for all the work you’ve done throughout the year. I absolutely love that as it challenges me every year to see what new systems did I learn, did I tackle more complex projects and was I able to improve on any personal skills like time management, punctuality and etc.

2- Since I joined Miipe I never stopped growing, if you want to do and be more than your current position you grow into what you want. I started as a junior QA Analyst fresh out of uni, 5 years later and I’m a senior consultant now!

3- It’s a fun, friendly work environment. Believe it or not my closest friends that I meet on the weekends started as my coworkers! There’s a fun working environment where you’re open to help one another and bond on common challenges you have during testing.

4- There’s always fun events and prizes that happen throughout the year. Last year I won a trip for two prize! Another year I won a ps5 for Christmas 😁. This is a fun bonus that excites us from time to time! It’s good to bond with your colleagues on other fun things other than projects

Subject: Concerns Regarding Discrimination in Recent Interview Process at Miipe

I recently interviewed at Miipe, and regrettably, my experience has raised serious concerns that I believe are crucial to share.

Despite a positive in-person interview with the Hiring Manager and QA team leads, the subsequent communication has been notably lacking. Following a rejection email from the Talent Sourcer, I proactively sought specific feedback from management to enhance my skills and understand any shortcomings in my application. Unfortunately, this request has gone unanswered for an extended period of two weeks.

What adds to the gravity of the situation is the unsettling feeling that time has been wasted. It's disheartening to be invited for an interview and then experience a lack of communication, especially given my significant level of experience. This not only reflects unprofessionalism but also raises serious concerns about the fairness and transparency of the hiring process at Miipe.

I must express that I am deeply troubled by the potential presence of discriminatory factors in my application process. My belief in a fair and unbiased evaluation is challenged by the lack of transparency, and I am 100% certain that the discrimination stems from the QA Hiring Manager. The reason, to my dismay, appears to be my nationality.

It's essential to note that the interview was arranged on short notice, just one day before, and I accepted without reservation. This further amplifies the disappointment in the subsequent communication and lack of transparency.

I sincerely hope that sharing my experience will encourage Miipe to address these communication and hiring process issues, ensuring they are respectful, transparent, and free from any discriminatory practices. This is vital for fostering a fair and inclusive environment for all candidates.
