Chris is one of those RARE all-in-one packages! He designed our kitchen expertly, pretty much nailed it in one go, and then delivered with superb craftsmanship and installation. Chris built our cabinets exactly as we discussed and the final product exceeded our expectations in quality and beauty. He told us in the beginning that customer satisfaction is his number one priority and we truly experienced this with him through each step of design-build-install. Chris is very precise and detail-oriented, just as one would want their designer and cabinet maker to be!

These are my opinions. When considering a kitchen design and installation I would want to judge the design, the materials / craftsmanship, the installation, the value, and the person I am doing business with. Unfortunately, most customers cannot judge these things until the end, ... then it could be too late. It is uncommon for me to write a review, but to help others considering working with Chris Feargrieve, I am.

Design: Chris Feargrieve took our kitchen design concepts, reviewed them for effective use of our space, then developed professional building plans and concept drawings that showed what the finished build would look like. He created a functional well laid out and easily accessible kitchen space, where before we had a horribly cramped and wretchedly designed one full of dead space. On design, I give Chris five stars.

Materials and Craftsmanship: Chris Feargrieve has spent considerable time selecting machine tools and developing skills that in combination with his intelligence and experience, result in a build quality not easily matched. Extraordinarily strong cabinetry skills and materials selection combine to create attractive, functional, and very strong cabinets. On Materials and Craftsmanship, I would give Chris more than five stars, but alas five is the top rating in this system.

Installation: Installation is a different skill set. It requires high critical thinking skills and an ability to make square cabinets fit well to uneven floors, crooked walls, and droopy ceilings. Chris has exceptional skills and his attention to detail is well above average. In fact, comparing him to average seems like a terrible mismatch. Chris took the time to do it right (perfectly). If allowed, I would give Chris substantially more than five stars for installation.

Value: I find it very difficult to quantify value. Design choices made with one person would come into focus only after committing to working with that person. Therefore, I find it impossible to compare the installation's value among different designers because no two would result in the same outcomes. I can say that I am extremely happy with the installation, and I believe the cost was fair to both sides (customer and designer). On value, I would give Chris five stars.

The Person (I am doing business with): I think choosing the person who is going to do your project is an especially important aspect of project success and overall satisfaction. Chris Feargrieve is a great person to work with. He is admirable in so many ways: skilled, attentive, clever, a good listener, responsive, experienced, and professional. On judging Chris personally, it is an easy five stars.

I hired My Kitchen Cabinets to re-do my kitchen. Chris was amazing with doing my kitchen in my condo. Great quality cabinets and craftsmanship. Listened to everything I wanted in my kitchen and accommodated for it wonderfully while still utilizing my small kitchen space amazingly. Chris was very nice to work and communicate with; he replied to any email promptly. His installers were very respectful and professional; they cleaned up after themselves and were very efficient. Chris Feargrieve completed our kitchen and it is beautiful. Chris is a meticulous craftsperson and his attention to detail is exhibited brilliantly in our space. My partner and I had a fair amount of questions and custom specifications that Chris needed to address and he was very helpful, patient and responsive. He provided relevant information during the design process and listened to our ideas. He also suggested things we hadn't considered, such as a full panel running alongside the height of the fridge and we are so glad that we followed his advice. We would highly recommend Chris from My Kitchen Cabinets and plan to continue more work with him this fall.
