I had a disappointing experience with Neil and Associates Insurance. In December 2024, I called to inquire if I could purchase sunglasses and later replace the lenses with prescription ones during my vacation in the Philippines, as it's more affordable there compared to Canada. One of their staff assured me that I could purchase the sunglasses and submit the receipt for reimbursement.

Following their advice, I bought a pair of Ray-Bans on December 26, 2024. However, after waiting 11 days without any updates, I called to follow up on my reimbursement. To my surprise, the claims department informed me that I could not be reimbursed.

This is incredibly frustrating as I was initially told otherwise. Providing incorrect information and later denying reimbursement is unacceptable. Customers rely on accurate and knowledgeable guidance from their insurance providers. Unfortunately, this experience has left me very disappointed with Neil and Associates Insurance. I expected better service and accountability.

My husband and I worked with Tab to get the best policies that made sense for us. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and even shovelled us out a path in the snow to park in the parking lot for our appointment.
