New Concept, and specifically Maria Bartolotti, have managed our building for about ten years. Maria's level of knowledge and passion for her work shows every day in how she is willing to help the board members of her buildings. We are a smaller building and obviously not one of the more lucrative accounts for New Concept, but I've never felt we were given lesser service and would recommend New Concept to anyone looking for a professional property management company.

I would like to call your attention to the performance of your employee Natasha Griffin at reception. In my 20+ years, I have rarely experienced the high level of service delivered recently by Natasha. Her responses are always extremely helpful in a prompt and efficient manner.
I often judge and refer the performance of an organization on the response I get from the admin staff rather than the individual manager or lawyer employed. In this case I would refer your service above all others based on my interaction with your receptionist.
I hope you will appreciate and acknowledge the asset you have in this employee.

Moving in, the security guard and elevator lock-out was not setup properly. I paid for this service, it was a joke.

The elevator was down for almost a year. I live on the top floor. Endless delay after delay in fixing it.

The parkade door was hit and left in place. I missed a day of work.

Inconveniences happen, I get that. What prompted me to leave a review was not the blatant incompetence of the management company, but rather the utter apathy and indifference they display towards their tenants.

I recently moved out of their building. I requested they waive the move out few, as their inability or unwillingness to spend a few dollars to get an emergency door service to remove the smashed parade door cost me a $300 day.

They were completely unwilling to waive their $100 ish fee after directly causing me, and a lot of tenants direct monetary loss. No empathy. No communication to inform their tenants that all the cars were trapped.

They have 60+ units all paying $500 a month in condo fees, and couldn't be bothered to fix a parade door in a timely manner. No matter how you do the math, a single after-hours call to fix a door is viable.

In summation, an utterly incompetent and apathetic company that simply does not care about their tenants, that values their own paychecks over doing their job.

These folks are horrible. They've mismanaged projects in our building resulting in huge costs to the condo. They've mismanaged all communication to the owners. It's been an ongoing nightmare. Our elevator has been down now for almost a full year and it's because these folks can't manage a project to save their lives. If you want a company that promises to lose your condo corp money, mismanage projects and communication so severely nothing gets done and fail to communicate at every possible opportuinity, then by all means, New Concept is the company for you! Otherwise, look elsewhere.

They are kind and understanding in times of crisis and help walk me through the process and bylaws. Their kindness and quick response is much appreciated. Maria even came personally to visit my unit when I was dealing with a flood and help me take the next steps.

I have consulted Maria B on a few issues that I had with my condo board and fellow board members. I was impressed by Maria’s depth of experience and her commitment to serve the unit owners. She is not afraid to take on difficult projects/properties that others may hesitate. New Concept Management is the property manager of choice if you need someone who is principled, experienced, and have the will to make things right.
