This was such a great experience. After gaining a ton weight, I was trying for years to figure out my style, sometimes overbuying and still feeling frumpy. I worked with Maggie, who was amazing from the start. I felt she really got my style, and the experience of going through the closet with her was already great, counseling me on fit, on different pieces, and what was missing and what to donate. She then was great at finding items to fill the gaps that were 100% me but also outside of my rut. The result is that I am having fun again getting dressed again and I feel put together when I need to.

After years of searching for mid-size clothing, experimenting with subscription boxes, and feeling frustrated of never being able to translate my style vision into a wardrobe reality, I decided to take the leap and hire a personal stylist. I didn't stress about finding a specific item, such as black trousers or blue blouse - Maggie does the research for you after reviewing your style board. Receiving the document with images, sizes to order, and link to the product was a huge timesaver. It finally felt like I went shopping for ME, not searching for things for me. I now have a wardrobe that has lasted almost a full 4 seasons, items that I keep using & love, and I can confidently shop on my own now for items that continue to enhance my style.

I decided to work with NLW coming out of Covid times. I was changing careers and knew I would have to start going back to an office and meeting clients after years of working at home in pajamas. I was also in the middle of a weight gain due to an autoimmune disorder, so none of my previous clothes fit me.

Maggie and Cassandra listened to my goals and concerns and built a capsule wardrobe for me that reflects my style and how I want to portray myself in my new work environment. I'm constantly getting compliments on pieces I purchased with them. The process is a little daunting, from the closet cleanout to mass ordering new clothes, but Maggie was so organized with spreadhsheets and photos that it was very simple to keep track.

In January I was able to spend three weeks in Europe with just a carry on suitcase and a backpack because I was able to build a lot of unique outfits out of a few pieces using the NLW system. I looked professional and put together at both business and formal events I attended.

If you’re hesitating to make the jump to work with NLW, this is your sign to do it! I just finished working with Maggie for the virtual personal styling service and she is exceptional. Pre-NLW my wardrobe was outdated and I didn’t know how to pick the right pieces for my wardrobe so I deprioritized shopping due to feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. This left me struggling to put together outfits on a daily basis, for both work and events in my personal life. Post-NLW I feel polished, absolutely love my wardrobe and have developed my own sense of style with Maggie’s help. Putting together outfits for any event is a breeze, something I look forward to, and I get compliments on my outfits post-NLW. Much to my surprise, I left this experience with a newfound love for shopping as well! This is because I know which brands work for me, am more inclined to experiment and venture outside of my comfort zone.
