I had some questions regarding some asset depreciation against rental units. Not only was Grant able to provide me some great info, but he did so for free. If you ever need advice, I'd recommend reaching out. He's a friendly guy who knows his stuff and seems happy to pass on his knowledge.

I am very disappointed in Grant's services. Grant has no idea how even to file a regular tax return. He put my wife's address different from mine God knows why he did that. He misspelled her name. I feel I gave my tax filing to a person who has no expertise in this field. When I confronted him, his ego took over, and he started bullying me and then, in the end, stopped receiving my calls.

I would never recommend this person and his business. In the end, I had to do everything by myself. I am spreading the word to all my family and friends not to use his services.

Not super impressed with my experience.

I called to inquire about filing my taxes. I asked about the price. I was told $59 per personal tax return. Great.
When I went to sign the papers/pay I was told $300. Confused, I told them I was told $59 per return. They told me "and up.." OK...
Then they said "we can do $250, does that help?"
I paid.

Sitting with this for a couple days/reaching out around town to compare prices I came to the conclusion that this not a reasonable price. We have a very simple tax return. So, I called to ask for a breakdown of costs. How we got from $59x2 to $150x2.
They told me that they "do not provide a breakdown of costs"

I wasn't asking for a refund or anything. I just wanted some transparency on the price I paid.

Very friendly staff. However I was disappointed in the price charged . I was told 60$ per tax return and price goes up depending on complexity....ok not a problem ...but how can the estimate be so far off? 150$ is not even close to what I was expecting to pay. They did do the job and service was friendly and fast but I feel .... disappointed starting at 60$ and paying over double is unreasonable ....being over a little is fine...say 90 or even 100...but 150.
I wish they would have called because estimated price is so far off.

Grant’s office did our books for two years. We trusted and believed.
We were audited and it turns out Grant’s office neglected to do our HST returns for an entire year.
Still cleaning up a financial mess after this fiasco.
Highly do not recommend.

We have been with Grant for about a decade. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is very good at deciding the best way to apply our tax documents between me, my husband and my business. I've tried others in the past and our return didn't even compare to what he is able to do for us. Recently, we were approved for the disability tax credit going back 7 years. We were going to have to wait about 2 months or more for the government to adjust our previous taxes to reflect this, but without being asked, Grant instantly readjusted our taxes and didn't even charge us for the extra work. He is always happy to discuss ways to improve our finances and share his knowledge. We are very happy with his services and will continue to be a dedicated customer for years to come.

I paid approx. $1500 to this company to complete and file a Corporation Income Tax Return for 2014. Two years later I am receiving threatening letters from CRA stating no return was filed, with considerable fines. Not to mention the complete bungling of my HST/GST refunds, that were apparently calculated on scrap paper with no records, so that when asked for additional information by CRA, I had not even the basis for how these were calculated. The owner promised to deal with this personally, but 2 years later, the issue has still not been resolved. I pay an accountant to deal with this stuff so that I do not have to. I am shocked that this firm can continue to do business if this is typical of how they handle a routine corporate filing.
