Bon et pas trop cher |Il faisait froid dans le restaurant mais sinon c'était très bien |Un bon coin pour arrêter quand vous faites de la route : petit kiosque de produits frais et local à vendre ( fraises ... Beurre d'érable ..légumes ) il y a un gros parc super pour les enfants juste à côté et un bleuet géant ( ça fait des belles photos 🙂 )

Can't visit the maritimes without stopping in my favourite town of Oxford, Nova Scotia. I have fond memories of getting takeout from "The (former) Big B" when visiting my grandparents and great aunt in the 70s and 80s. The Parkview Family Restaurant takes me back to the old days with its delicious menu and small-town friendly service. On this visit I enjoyed a cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap and fries with tasty gluten-friendly gravy. My companions' turkey (made with real turkey pieces!), western, and grilled cheese sandwiches looked really good as well. Our server on the Tuesday that we were there last week was excellent! Can't wait to make another visit back to eat the next time we are in town. Love you Oxford!

As descendants of Richard Thompson, the founder of Oxford, we were excited to stay at the Parkview Family restaurant and Inn. We traditionally would eat there every year when we came to the Maritimes to visit with relatives.

This is our first year staying here, and it was lovely. The room was clean, modern and quiet. We weren't able to enjoy a meal, we left too early, which was disappointing.

Our server was the nicest person. Our daughter made a tantrum and broke her plate. She smiled told her not to worry and made her a new plate. Good was good and tastefully.

While I've never stayed in the rooms myself, I've always eaten at the resteraunt since I was young. Their breakfast is amazing, great food. Burgers are great but the battered fish is a little meh, also kinda stingy with ketchup but you can just ask for more.

Overall not bad when I eat here.

This for me is my quiet place. I can sit at this diner . Eat with friends. You will never be frowned apon for what your wearing. Everyone is welcome. If i look a little tired and dirty at the end of the day . The girls all laugh and bring me a tea. The waitress is always friendly. My food is always good . And at the end of my days down here. This is all i needed.

Outside needs improvement but the room was clean and comfortable - housekeeper was friendly and the owner was there when needed- price of room was reasonable .
