Fantastic staff members! Me and my friend were looking for local history articles, and they were able to redirect us to resources. Got the booksale items and for a lot of items it came to just $4. The librarians were so helpful setting us up with a temporary, 3 month, library card for our vacation. Easy to renew, and it was free even though we are not from the same county.

Beautiful library. Clean and not too busy. It was very clear that so much thought was put into this library with all the little details and things they had set up: A seed library, board game stations, a colouring station, playstation and x box video games and even a nintendo switch all available to borrow! 😊 Plenty of books (lots of large print ones) and dvds with recent tv shows and movies. Areas to sit down and study, a special area with chargers to charge your phone, as well as a shelf displaying all the different crafts and activities available to kids hosted by the library! A beautiful lovely library with so much to offer! 💜

the library is one of my favourite places to go! As someone who doesn't have the money for books it is very very very helpful to read them for free. The staff is always super helpful and super nice

This is quickly becoming my second home. Getting used to the staff - there were some really terrific people there years ago who made my Dad feel like family. He was gravely ill, and a staff member, who has since retired, would send him cards and flowers when he was hospitalized. She was top-notch, very caring and took an interest in everybody. The staff working there now has big shoes to fill, which they are trying their best to do. I love the library, but find that some staff members are cool and have been at times unable to help me with a request. I do love the library itself, it is very airy and much brighter after a renovation years ago. However, I wish the books were shelved differently. They need to do some reorganizing in that respect as they are very disorganized. I am sure it would be quite a feat to organize all their books in a logical alphabetical order though. All in all, I give this library props. I visit at least twice a week, so that says a lot!

The paint class at Port Colborne Library was great and fun. Quaint city with a lot of character. Check out the all the small shops. I went to Lakeshore Decor and More, various decor and kids toys.

The friendliest, most helpful staff. A quiet local library able to get you almost anything you want. Lots of options from paper to digital. Just wish they had some Sunday hours for us heathens.

every time i’ve been in this library, the only other patrons have been older people who sit in the corner and read the newspaper, and i’m the only one actually browsing, and i now understand why; the staff are rude and overbearing. be prepared for them to treat you like a stupid child. they are always going above and beyond to enforce their ridiculous, completely unnecessary guidelines. a severe borrowing limit in a library that’s always empty? seems a bit counterproductive. titles that you can’t actually lease and can only read while in the library? do they even know what a library is? if you can look past all that bs, their selection is actually pretty good, but you’re still better off going somewhere else nearby, like dunnville or wainfleet. the staff there are much more accommodating.
