Five years ago I began serving on our newly formed Condo Board. Most of us on the board had little or no experience so we felt it was important to retain the service of a good quality property management team. Jo-Anne and the staff at Progressive Property Management have been exactly that for us. It was very intimidating to try and navigate through the Condo Act and regulations governing Condo Corporations roles and responsibilities so we were very grateful for Jo-Anne’s vast knowledge in these areas. Jo-Anne was able to guide us through this process and ensure all the proper audits and documentation were in place. In addition Jo-Anne and her staff coordinate with contractors and residents to ensure the business of the Corporation is completed as required. This in itself would be a full time job. Jo-Anne and her staff also handle calls from residents and identify concerns for the board. With her experience and network of professionals, Jo-Anne will generally have an acceptable solution for us to remedy any concern. With the assistance of Progressive Property Management, our current financial situation is very stable and secure and we have not had a condo fee increase in 5 years.

The owner Jo-Anne is very aggressive and try’s to make up for her lack of knowledge and managerial skills by quoting condo bylaw and bullying tenants. Do not be intimidated. This company has history of targeting minorities.
