Building a new home is a huge decision and I believe choosing the right builder should be top of mind over location and price. To say that the process of engaging with eQ was without its hurdles would not be true.. but that is also exactly why I am giving them 5 stars.

The response from the eQ Team was one where my wife and I felt taken care of. Any of the issues we raised were addressed in a fair and timely manner and this is not at all required once a contract is signed.

To Claudia, Melissa and Marissa, thank you for hearing us out and being patient with our stresses. This is above and beyond and everyone should know how you all showed up. To Emma, thank you for making the selection process so easy and smooth, especially with the large catalogue of options available.

I hope that readers of this review can sense the credibility and integrity of your company and I truly thank you for it.

when we took possession of our home from EQ Homes, and unfortunately, our overall experience has been quite disappointing. From the very beginning, we encountered issues that were not promptly addressed, leading to a sense of frustration and dissatisfaction.

One of the major concerns was the cleanliness of the home upon possession. The place was excessively dusty to the point where my allergies were triggered. Despite contacting the property manager immediately, it took an agonizing three days for someone to come and address the issue. This delay in response raised questions about the efficiency and customer service of EQ Homes.

Moreover, a significant problem emerged with the tiles installed in our foyer. During the walkthrough before taking possession, we noticed that the wrong tiles were in place. However, the site manager, Chris, assured us that the correct tiles were already available and would be installed before we moved in. Unfortunately, when we reached out to him after possession, he began offering excuses about the workers and claimed that the correction might take some time. This lack of accountability and broken promises from the site manager is unacceptable.

It's not just about the tiles; numerous other issues required immediate attention and were blatantly ignored by Chris. It became apparent that he consistently avoids resolving problems and looks for ways to evade responsibility. This unprofessional behavior is disheartening, especially considering the significant investment and trust placed in EQ Homes.

What's more concerning is that my experience with Chris is not unique. Upon speaking to fellow neighbors, I discovered that they also had negative encounters with him, citing rudeness and a lack of professionalism. This consistent pattern of behavior raises serious questions about EQ Homes' management and their oversight of their employees.

I urge EQ Homes' management to address these issues promptly. Chris's unprofessionalism and lack of commitment to resolving problems are not only impacting individual homeowners but are likely to result in a community of frustrated and dissatisfied customers. A thorough evaluation of their staff and a commitment to better customer service are essential for maintaining the trust and satisfaction of homeowners.

I went there on a Saturday to meet a tiling guy/friend. The first thing that impressed me was the level of floor/steps protection they had employed.

The next thing that impressed me was the notes left by the project manager: my tiling guy said she was very organized and the notes left where the tiles were being installed were clear and concise. As someone in the trades, I can tell you that good project managers build good homes. They are the first line of quality control and they have to be on top of everything.

I can't really comment on the layout, as I was there to look at the tiling areas, but I can tell you that these places are going to be gorgeous.
