Today is Feb 25, 2022. We pay $750 plus tax for snow removal of our double driveway and porch/steps. Last year the service was fantastic. I have no idea what happened this year. Did ownership change? We have had to go out every time after they clear to reclear the sides of our driveway. For $750 plus tax we expect more than that. Today I finally called the company phone (which no one seems to answer) to complain that their truck had only cleared 2/3 of our driveway. They sent the truck back and the driver told me that he couldn't angle into our driveway safely. He finally figured out that if he drives in from the other side of the driveway then he can get to the remaining snow. He still left a pile of snow on the edge and assured us that someone would come back to clear that. Another guy came a couple of hours later to clear our porch and the remaining snow on the driveway. Again he only cleared one side of the driveway and didn't even touch the other side. So I had to go out (like every time) to clean up the other side of the driveway. And then I called the company again to complain and inform them they would not receive our business next year and furthermore I would be telling all our neighbours not to hire them. Update: I look out my window now and see a couple of their guys taking photos of my driveway to prove to the company that they had done their work. Nope, I did that. I cleared my driveway. I would not recommend this company at all. What a waste of money.
Editing to add in response to company's response: This is not the first time we have had to reclear our driveway as I have stated in my original post. We have had to reclear the driveway every time. It is only today that I was so fed up that I complained to the company. Also they only resent their crew after I complained twice today. They have never resent their crew to multiple times as they have responded.
