I’ve been working with Rentch for my property management needs since last year, and I’ve had nothing but a positive experience. From the start, Aaron and his team has been extremely assertive, helpful, and proactive in finding a suitable renter for my condo. Rentch excels in communication and I appreciate their transparent and efficient communication, always staying on top of updates and keeping me in the loop. Their fee structure is very competitive and one of the best I’ve come across, considering the excellent service they provide. Rental income is always received promptly at the beginning of the month. I highly recommend Rentch to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy property management.

We rented an apartment in Bridgeland for a few months through Rentch and overall it was a good experience dealing with this agency. Jessica was very helpful and she even waited for us upon our arrival to help us personally settle down and show us the apartment. Even before moving in, the communication was pretty smooth and easy.

That being said, we were a bit disappointed by the apartment we rented. The condo in Bridgeland was listed as “luxury penthouse” with sweeping views. It was a regular apatment that was pretty nicely furnished but maybe we have a different opinion of what is considered to be luxurious. Many of the smart home features didnt work, the internet was unbearably slow, the sink was clogged when we arrived and generally we felt like the price we paid didn’t correspond to what we got. The apartment was also getting unbearably hot during the summer and the views from the tiny patio were just into neighbours’ living rooms so it wasn’t comfortable for us to use the patio.
On top of that we were woken up every morning at 5am by the noise coming from the garbage collectors or nearby restaurant suppliers and overall it was quite noisy in both of the bedrooms because of the loud ventilation system.
The elevator was often not working and there were safety concerns of many residents as there were constantly notes in the elevator and email communication about continuous brake ins into the building.

We would highly suggest the owner and also Rentch to change the description of the apartment and maybe reconsider the rental fee given all the reasons above.

Overall we recommend Rentch as a service, but we would reconsider renting the apartment in Bridgeland next time.

In May 2022, I finally decided to change the rental management company taking care of my townhouse. After my poor experience with the previous company, I was determined to do my due diligence before signing any papers.

Going through the listed companies, I selected 4 different rental management firms - large to small. My interview with them revolved around their fee structure for: Leasing, Management, Lease Renewal, and Setup. I relied on the online reviews the companies had received regarding landlord, tenant relationships.

Needless to say, I learned a fair bit from interviewing and reviewing a diverse spectrum of rental management setups in Calgary. After my 10-days of analysis, I settled on a relatively young company in the field. Now nearly 2 years after, my experience can be best summarized as follows:

- Their tenant screening process has yielded responsible, and reliable, candidates repeatedly

- Rental income payment has been prompt, practically the same day as collected

- Communication on all issues to date has been very forthcoming, transparent and friendly

- Their staff has consistently, and proactively, engaged me on all matters - no matter how small

- The tenants have experienced an equally warm, friendly attitude, and prompt response from their entire team

Thank you Aaron, Jessica, and your coworkers at Rentch! I am glad to have you manage my townhouse. Your company has grown since I signed up with you, however, the quality of your service, transparency with a simple, yet superior fee structure remains the same. Your honest and helpful hand in looking after both people and their possessions, goes a long way.
