I'm very impressed with Ridgeback Basement Systems. After a thorough consultation with Gerard, a variety of options was offered for my sump pump solutions. I had Ridgeback patch a crack almost 7 years ago. Within a few months, the leak was back and turned out to be an issue with their patch. To their credit - they did fix it under warranty. However, fast forward to this summer and I notice a leak again. Removing the drywall and the fix that they put in place is not only leaking, but filling up with water like a water balloon. There was a pinhole that was shooting water. I had it corrected by another company who noted that (1) there was no caulk around their seal, and there was caulk in the crack itself which would prevent the fix Ridgeback installed from working. Additionally, (2) Ridgeback cemented in their water guard so it would also not work as intended. It took a while for it to break down, but I'd rather not re-drywall a large wall every 5-7 years as I'm doing it now for the 3rd time with the same crack.
Providing this feedback so it helps other folks.
