Hi, I am leaving this review so others know how terrible of a property management company SAM has been for our property. They are not timely in their service and some of the senior members of their team have been very difficult to deal with. I would stay far away from this company and avoid at all costs.

I just have to say this...I live at The Swedish Canadian Home on Roblin Blvd. We have the most wonderful and conscientious on site caretaker/manager, Kevin Ketchen. He has created a delightful living atmosphere for all the tenants. Every building should be so lucky to have someone like Kevin! He's an invaluable asset. Kudos to Jennifer Maidens and SAM Management for bringing Kevin into our building and our lives.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience dealing with SAM Management in Winnipeg. I applied for housing a year ago, submitting all required hard copies physically. After patiently waiting for six months, I decided to follow up, only to be told that there was no trace of my application. They requested me to resubmit it via email, which I promptly did.

From that point onwards, my attempts to get in touch with SAM Management were met with constant disappointment. I called them a total of 7-8 times, either receiving no response or being put on an endless hold. Emails to their office went unanswered, creating a complete lack of communication. This has undoubtedly been one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered. The inefficiency and lack of responsiveness are unacceptable, leaving much to be desired in terms of professionalism and accountability.

Unfortunately, my experience with SAM Management has left me disheartened, and I would caution others to be wary of their services.

Been here 7 years have a roommate and they keep sending his rent back getting him cut off Eia ! That was there way of getting my extra money because I worked ! Late fee always added even though that was them sending it back to EIA Never any repairs to my suite ! ALWAYS CAUSING damage to my suite because they sledge hammered out a crawfoot tub ! To give the drug deals a new bathroom! So many people have come a gone ! They even jacked the house beams and damaged all the lathe and plaster ! Hard wire alarms bent to ! Bathroom tub painted and bubbled right after ! Finally they got fired ! Now new property management! Finally

No pet friendly, low income rentals for seniors. As a low income senior with a good record of tenancy, its disheartening to see that many landlords don't understand the importance of pets to a lonely senior's wellbeing. This is why so many seniors live in substandard housing. They stay where they are so as not to be traumatized by having to give up their companions.

Terrible company, no decency, no humility, gross "NON FOR PROFIT" so called company. My family member died March.14, gave a 30 day notice to vacate since its a month to month lease, they said to bad as per the law they can ask for the whole month of April. 15 year tenant, never late, never missed rent, can prove it to! They said to bad, not thier problem. Disgusting manner to have for an elderly person who the whole building loved, who did what she could to provide a friendly happy environment, these are not the people who you want to instill trust in, nor the people you should trust with family. The 3.2 they have is accurate. Terrible Terrible people, right from the first phone call explaining the situation, no heart. Hope the company is proud of the cold heartless people they have running the show.

Very disappointed with the management. Whenever I had issues with my apartment it would take forever for them to get back to me or not at all. Also for two months they messed up on my rent and tried to say I owed them more. Right now, they are holding my damage deposit just because the windows weren’t clean and the stove and fridge were dirty. The windows, fridge, and stove looked like that since we moved in and we cleaned the fridge and stove the best we could. Plus I thought the damage deposit was for damages? Which were none. Very disappointed. I went to SAM for a safe place after my previous home was broken into and I end up getting my window smashed on the first year of living at 200 Good St. The only positive thing I can say is that Darren was a very good caretaker and he was always quick to respond when I contacted him.

I have lost everything I ever owned and it was a fire that started in a vacant suite& I wasn't allowed to enter my suite to grab my stuff that wasn't burnt and I remember that there were rodents and all Management did was replace the traps
