The individual we dealt with was shady to say the least. He was speaking on behalf of a client that he was conducting a project for that would directly affect our property with damage as well as property value. The information provided by him conveniently changed with every concern that we brought forward and was not at all consistent or accurate. One minute he is unable to touch our property due to it being “valued wet lands” than he proposed a very expensive re landscaping of the land at the expense of the client, which without permits from Alberta environment wouldn’t be possible. He stated that he had attended our residence to speak to us and we were not home, which is not true as we have a security system that notifies us of anyone that enters our property. He swore to the client that they would not be doing any work on our property, which turned out not to be the case as they clearly did not do their due diligence in surveying where our property line starts prior to doing the work. They conducted the work right up to our fence line, even placing tarps to block water ON our fence which the extra pressure has caused the post to bend. Our fence is 7ft into our property line so they removed trees along our property and conducted the work 7ft into our property, work that was a major excavation. This work was done without permission and with us being very vocal about our concerns, they proceeded with the work
In spite of our oppositions and many attempts to discuss the matter. The individual we dealt with was rude, unprofessional and difficult to contact or talk with.
