Dishonest company! DO NOT USE THEM. You have been warned! We booked a suite through Flair's web site in a fairly new building a 5 minute walk from our job site. When we came to pick up the key were charged a "cleaning fee" on top of the stated rate plus a $500 damage deposit, the return of which would only be returned up to 30 days later. My sixth sense told me that I had better check my CC statement later...more on that later. Anyway, we went to the rented unit only to find it was, by all appearances, owner occupied. When we phoned we were told that this unit was under renovation (maybe, but I doubt it) and that the key they gave us was for another unit...to an old, run down building several miles away. The unit stunk of mould, was very dirty, we had to wash dishes etc. before using them, was noisy from the street below, the TV didn't work, I could go on but you get the picture. It was certainly nothing like the description and pictures of the actual unit we rented. Anyway, I finally checked my CC statement 2½ months later. As expected, the $500 deposit was never returned...but wait, it gets worse. Perhaps because I didn't complain earlier they concluded that I don't check my statements, which would explain why they charged a duplicate booking fee (for $1,057.73) a little over 2 months after the original charge! They will probably cite an accounting error, and if you believe that I have a bridge for sale. For anyone foolish enough to use Signature suites (At the time, they only had one review and it was 5 stars) you might want to change your CC number after checking your statements. They would have deserved a one star review just for their horrid service, so given their "accounting errors" they really deserve a negative star review.

Absolute scum bags, do not use them! Had a booking for 6 months, they canceled a week before the event and would not provide a refund. Thieves plain and simple.

DISHONEST COMPANY- do NOT do business with them.
I stayed with them months ago, and then since then they have not refunded me my $500 damage deposit and will not acknowledge it, and then they apparently had a system glitch which caused them to charge me the whole cost of my accommodation AGAIN! So now I'm down a further $1200 on top of my initial 2 day stay!
They say they are having issues with their refund process and so I've disputed with my bank but that may take months.
I'm furious, and I will be taking this a lot further and will be filing a consumer complaint, at the very least, if I'm not refunded ASAP.
Do NOT risk your funds going through this company.

Cancelled our booking on August 4th... it is now September 1st and we are still waiting for our damage deposit to be returned for accommodation we did not even stay at. We have been reaching out to them daily and each time get told that it will reflect in our account the following day?! Unhelpful, poor, service. Hopefully this review will get someone at Signature Suites to do their job.

Terrible service. They will take your $500 deposit and pocket it. I have been trying to get it back since July 25th and they keep giving me the runaround. "Having issues in the refund process" is not the customers problem. They need to find another way. It's not a small deposit. I have opened a fraud dispute\investigation with my credit card company. What a shame.

Best experience! The suite catered for a family of 4 for an entire week in Calgary, conveniently located near the trainline for easy access into town & hirecar access to travel to Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, Emerald Lake etc. Easy walk to shopping precinct for groceries also. Having a full kitchen and laundry facilitites was amazing, we felt very safe with security keys and access. Well done Signature Suites, great work! This week was a highlight of our trip.

I stayed with them in downtown apartment for two months. They have not returned my deposit and neither the extra rent I payed. They are not even answering my emails that I am sending them.
