I had work done at our studio in March 2019 and I am very disappointed. It looks like I’m about to spend another chunk of money again trying to have this fixed. The acoustic panels and baffles that were provided and installed for us have done nothing for the noise that travels into our next door neighbors. I paid over $8k to have some acoustic panels installed due to a noise complaint from our next door neighbors. I was assured numerous times this would help the issue not 100%, but greatly. Needless to say I did not help. After doing more research and speaking to numerous companies, I learned that this was not the proper solution as noise travels through any gaps or holes that are exposed and not properly sealed. Upon further observation I learned that I had plenty of gaps still open which was part of the job I paid for and this was never done. I was promised that any gaps would be filled with an acoustical foam to prevent the sound from traveling through. From the pictures you can see this was not done. The young men that came in to install the panels also seemed a little rushed and I don’t think the company was fully honest with me. Even after my follow up complaint I don’t think they took my job as serious. I’m sure my small studio was nothing compared to the bigger jobs they do but here I am with the same problems. I’m considering filing a small claims complaint because the work is not completed as per my invoice. Just a suggestion to anyone looking to have work done ...DO YOUR RESEARCH!
