Why are the clothing aisles so congested? The building is huge and spacious but the clothing aisles are so close together. Why? It’s hard to get a cart through and even turn yourself around while you’re in the aisle. I felt very claustrophobic and it made my shopping experience frustrating because I kept having to wait for other people to finish in the aisles I wanted to look in as it’s so tight multiple people can’t be in an aisle at once. Prices are mostly fair except the “special” items which are marked up a ridiculous amount.

It's easy to donate to so that is a plus, however I'll never forget one time around Christmas time I was waiting in line to pay (it was close to closing) and a man who had been explaining to one of the store workers that he was new to Canada and had nothing...he was told no he had to leave because the store was closing. What great opportunity for MCC to show the love of Christ to local people. That was a fail in my books.

i love this place, they price things pretty fair for the most part although you find the odd jacked up item sometimes but that’s every thrift store. i love the cashiers especially. they are always really sweet and compliment the items you picked out. and you can tell they wanna send you away with a smile! ?

Very well organized, clean with an interesting inventory. We did, however, see an overly zealous volunteer berating an elderly gentleman for trying to move a piece of furniture without first asking for assistance. The volunteer was unnecessarily harsh and rude to this customer without justification or cause. Hopefully, this is an outlier event and will not be repeated. Otherwise, this store is highly recommended.

Always a great experience visiting this store. There's a real community feel when you come in. Sometimes a few people gathering in the furniture department and catching up on the latest news. Well stocked store and well organized. It's easy to find what you are looking for. I like the new Clearance racks with a .50 tag on them.
Wheelchair accessible parking but no automated doors.
Friendly staff. Love the new tall girl who really has a sense of style and flare for fashion in the clothing department. Thanks Nina.

I enjoy shopping here, and almost always find a treasure to take home. Some thrift stores are quite dusty and musty, and as someone with scent sensitivity, I can’t shop in those places very long before getting a headache. This is not a problem for me at MCC. I also appreciate the organization and lack of clutter so it’s easier to find what I’m looking for. Yes, the prices have gone up over the last few years (as some other reviewers have pointed out), but it doesn’t bother me. It’s still cheaper than Value Village and buying new, and the proceeds go towards supporting a great charitable organization that helps people around the world, so I’m happy to support that. Occasionally there will be something priced incorrectly (aka higher than new retail price), but just as often I find items that are worth FAR more than the price they are listed at, so it balances out. I also don’t know about these reviews of people being rude, I have visited this MCC for many years and the volunteers and management have always been kind and helpful.

Very good deals. very misleading sign which caused a manager to get angry with me.
"Winter shoes and boots .50 cents" I grab 5 or 6 pairs... But what in the is winter shoes? Anyways she didn't agree with the shoes I had and what she has in mind for winter shoes.
