My request for maintenance to attend to a leak from my kitchen sink was handled with utmost professionalism by the property manager. Plumbers were dispatched in a timely manner, fixed the problem and also addressed a secondary worn gasket in the faucet and replaced this item. From report of the problem to solution all results lead to complete satisfaction of the tenant.

This management team has done an excellent job over the years at managing the condo complex that contains our commercial unit. They have handled every request and query I have presented to them very professionally, with no undue delay.

The worst experience in my life. I own a condo in Alliston. I barely get responses from my property manager. We are not advised of fire alarms or elevator maintenance, etc. in a timely manner. The companies they hire to maintain property in summer and winter do not do their job - health and safety concerns. No one cares about residents; owners specifically. I’ve been physically and verbally assaulted by a renter, and nothing has been done even after I filed two police reports. I would never purchase a condo again under Hassey management. If you want all concerns ignored, and to be living in a place that over charges in maintenance fees - call Hassey.

I'm a tenant at a unit in a Barrie plaza managed by Hassey Property Management Group. My experience dealing with them throughout this Covid-19 period has been incredibly difficult, frustrating, and at times incredulous and infuriating. I have e mails and bank transactions to back up *everything* I say in this review. I'm a new business; I was only open for exactly 9 months when I closed my doors. I closed my business on March 17, 2020, and reopened by appointment only on May 20, 2020. While being provincially mandated to be closed for business I still managed to make bi-weekly payments towards my rent obligation. I stayed in constant contact with Hassey Property Management. I WAS STILL SERVED A DEMAND LETTER AT THE BEGINNING OF MAY AFTER MAKING BI-WEEKLY PAYMENTS during my time closed for business. I had to seek out the owner of the building and report to him the treatment I was receiving from Hassey. What happened today is just the latest in a series of shameful behaviour from Hassey. Last week I sent several emails to Hassey requesting clarification on what would be debited from my bank account on June 1. I was told nothing would be debited. As it turns out, Hassey debited my bank account anyways without my authorization. This is after telling me in writing it wouldn't happen, and now Hassey expects me to ask my bank to perform a retroactive stop payment, which doesn't exist. Their excuse is they manage a lot of tenants and things are constantly changing. Hassey wants understanding and forgiveness from a tenant (me) they served a demand letter to 4 weeks ago! I encourage anyone considering leasing a space managed by Hassey Property to do your due diligence and know you're nothing more than a file number. International pandemic, a state of emergency, and the whole world is shut down for non-essential business? Hassey doesn't care. You better pay your rent, or you'll be served a demand letter from them. Even after making bi-weekly payments towards your rent obligation. Make an educated, informed decision.

This company is NOT at all helpful to any tenants during the COVID-19 crisis and has provided no help to the tenants they work with. Offering a 1 month deferral (followed by paid in full the following month) while companies are still forced closed IS NOT HELP.
It is disgusting to see the greed and lack of compassion they have for tenants. If you are ever considering them or any properties they represent I would consider to keep looking.
In the last month they have evicted many companies all over the Barrie area. Owners, families, and employees are all going try to have to find a way to feed there family because this greed and lack of compassion. Attached is one of many of the tenets eviction notices given over the Covid forced closure. Shame on you.

I have heard from a very reliable source that this company is not being cooperative during this COVID-19 situation. Of course tenant is afraid to speak up publicly in fear of retribution They are not applying for the Commercial relief program from CRA and forcing tenants to pay 100% or threatening to evict. I know they work with property owners, but they are the company that tenants deal with and should give these tenants the respect and consideration they deserve. NOT IMPRESSED! I would never recommend them because of this.
