Stayed here for 1 night recently. Jane, the host was very welcoming. Fabulous location, with beautiful views. Really well kept. We enjoyed this visit as it was smaller than the other campsites we visited so felt really personal. Would definitely recommend.

Sehr sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Campground ist klein, sauber und gepflegt. Die Leute sind sehr nett. Sie hatten auch viele Tips für uns für die weitere Reise. Es ist sehr ruhig und wenn Sie Glück haben, sehen sie ein Bär. Und der Hund Pingo ist ganz lieb und spielt gerne. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Had a lovely stay at the B&B part of Texas Creek campground. Jane & Bruce were lovely hosts and Pingo was such a polite and friendly camp dog.
The room was amazing, had all the amenities you could ask for and the breakfast in the morning was excellent!
Can highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to switch off and relax

We had a lovely night in the B&B hosted by Bruce and Jane. They were such lovely hosts and the cabin had all the amenities you could need such as a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The campsite is beautiful, peaceful and had lovely views. Pingo the camp dog was an absolute sweetheart too!

Spend a couple of rainy nights at this cute cosy cabin. Jane & Bruce are very charming hosts who readied the cabin ahead of season for me. The campground is a lovely private spot with a clear view of the nearby mountains across the Fraser River. Only 5km from town, very inviting for hikes and explorations in all directions. I brought my e-bike and was able to charge it after rides. You also find a very civilized outhouse with flush toilet, sink and running water. Firewood is available, and the well water tastes exceptionally good.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience with the owners. We rented camping ground #7, which was a bit distant from the main house. We were told that the wifi should still work at our camp but it wasn’t. This is why my boyfriend sat at one of the chairs close to the check-in area at the house, where also tourist brochures were laid out, also as it was raining outside to sit in the dry. The owner came and without any greeting asked what he did there and why he sat there. My boyfriend explained that he is just using the wifi and the owner then rudely said that the chairs belonged to the b&b and he wasn’t allowed to sit there. And then he gave him back the money and demanded us to leave. Never ever have we experienced such rudeness and exaggerated reaction! If people weren’t allowed to sit there, then either a sign should have been placed there or he could have just politely asked him to not use the chairs. Moreover, if it sais that wifi is included then it must work at all locations. Also, we didn’t appreciate that the owner lady let the dog jump at us. Very unfortunate as the place was very nice actually. Interest concept though if your customers do sth ‚wrong‘ without any bad intentions to kick them right out!!

Final clarification:
First, we parked on the parking spot in front of the check-in with a sign stating „guest parking“ - the only parking spot near the check-in. We even showed the host lady where we parked as she asked for our camping equipment and she did not indicate that we weren’t allowed to park there. One of the google photos posted a month ago even proves that the sign says „guest parking“. We parked there for the check-in for just a few minutes. Also, we did not spot any sign regarding the seating. Making a scene from that is hilarious.

Second, we love dogs - we just don’t want to be jumped at without being asked from dogs we don’t know yet.

Third, it‘s very unfortunate that you did not simply indicate this allegedly ‚rude misbehavior‘ to us so that we could have solved it before you escalated the situation!

Customer-friendly hosts would have simply given us another chair to sit on in the dry to check our emails. Crossing fingers that your future guests meet your heightened expectations!
