An absolutely lovely restaurant with amazing food, staff and service. Ingredients were of excellent quality and flavours were delightful. My 4 year old son, who usually only eats his burgers with ketchup and pickles, devoured half of my burger with all the fixings, the way they make it here. Very yummy. Cocktails were fun and refreshing. And of course, obviously, the ambiance and atmosphere is unmatched. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Bravo to the whole team!!

Great place! Was recommended by someone that I know here in town and didn’t disappoint. All of the elements of my dishes came together so nicely. The tuna and tomato was a standout, with the tuna being so insanely fresh and the tomatoes straight from the garden. They’re very accommodating to dietary restrictions which is great. Very much looking forward to going back and I’d highly recommend to anyone!

We've been to museum and garden cafes before and have certain expectations about the kind of delicious and simple offerings most of them have. But this is something entirely different.
We were delighted when we saw what was written on the chalkboard and then gobsmacked by the high level of cuisine here. Those who are in the know secure reservations, and even though we had not done so, we were graciously seated in a room full of beautiful watercolor paintings.
This cafe deserves a Michelin star without a doubt. Beautifully conceived, cooked and plated dishes. Fresh, local ingredients. We cannot rave enough about the cafe and our server was charming and enthusiastic. Cannot wait to book more lunches and dinners here.

One of our favourite restaurants so far on our journeys around the province.

After a drive down from Fredericton followed by a relatively long exploration of the gardens, this was just what we needed. Firstly, it felt as though they truly cared about your experience. The café grounds are just as beautiful as the gardens. On the inside, from the walls to the art to the tablecloths, it was all on theme which to us was about being bright, fresh, relaxing and a hint of luxury.

The drinks we ended up ordering (a Cavit Pinot Grigio and Katy's Cove Beach Lemonade) even matched the colours of our tablecloth. I had the venison ragu with creamy polenta. The deer was local and well done while the mushrooms, demi-glace and tomato jam all added to the complexity of the meat. The creamy polenta had lots of flavour as it was peppered with herbs. My wife had the Pansotti and couldn't get enough. The pasta was a perfect Al denté and the cream sauce was delicious.

We shared a crème brûlée with biscotti as the mains were very large for a lunch. The crème was perfect, just like everything else and dipping the biscotti in added a nice freshness to the cookie. Our server was very attentive and friendly which capped off the whole experience nicely.

Don't forget to take a stroll through the mini gallery as well before you leave. It's a great addition.
