The Learning Edge has delivered to me a comprehensive leadership development program that spanned over 8 weeks. It was comprehensive, relevant and very interactive. I’ve been saying WOW a lot since I decided to explore what The Learning Edge is all about!
I've been a management consultant for the past 15 years. Before this, I held numerous leadership positions in the corporate world, spanning 38 years. You can likely well imagine the number of conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, and training sessions I have attended and led. I love to learn so I have continually searched for learning and development opportunities that help me stay current and effective.
When I found The Learning Edge online, I immediately liked what I saw. The name caught my eye, especially when I considered the meaning behind it – The state of mind one enters when pushing one’s previous knowledge – outside of one’s comfort zone. This is believed to cause distress that enables one to adapt to and overcome challenging situations. I liked the sound of that, so I contacted The Learning Edge to find out more.
For the past few months I have been amazed at my journey thus far; yes a journey – as The Learning Edge refers to it. I recently attended the Everything DiSC Train the Trainer sessions where an overview of the Everything DiSC solutions suite was shared along with The Learning Edge’s Beyond the Kit facilitation materials and best practices.
Denise McIntyre was excellent at helping us understand the material and to take deep dives into the specifics. The training materials, activities and best practices are the best I’ve ever experienced. Every leader would benefit significantly from what The Learning Edge has to offer – building better relationships one relationship at a time and creating a culture where employees are excited about coming to work each day.
