10 out of 10 would recommend The Local!! I'm a beginner snowboarder and had to go in for my first pair of boots. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! They went out of their way to show me options, explain the differences and price points, undid my laces and then did them up for me. I felt very taken care of <3 They're patient and supportive and you can tell they are all very passionate about what they do. I will absolutely be back for all my snowboarding needs!

The first problem I had going in is that I ordered something online for in store pickup and they said they haven’t had the part I ordered (and already paid for) in stock in over a month. I got another equally priced part but it was the wrong type. I had to drive all the way into the city again (about a 45 minute drive) to get the part exchanged. They didn’t have any replacements for the part I needed. It took them about 15 minutes to figure out how to do a refund. The only good thing about my visits was meeting Pat. He was the only competent worker and the only one to be nice. The owner seems to only care about money and not at all about customer service. He was very rude openly to his employees and was acting very unprofessional. Over all wouldn’t go back, 10/10 wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
