You have 11K people at the Outdoor Comedy Festival, 8 are standing to block half the crowds view, and you do NOTHING and tell us to take it up with your supervisor, give the 20 plus people complaining no information. They are blocking people's access to the first aid area yet they did nothing.

Do not hire these people if you want people to enjoy your event!!!! Absolutely terrible policy and lazy guards who are clocking in for a pay cheque nothing more. Thanks for ruining a ton of people's nights!

This company is one of the top security companies for events definitely in canada. The way they are thorough with inspection of products coming in through events and insuring safety for all, is spectacular. Making sure areas are safe and secure from any intruders on premises. The service is impeccable and done with a smile. Very well done, all round. Any one looking for security company to work events should call this one to do the job. They do it real well. The way they train there workers is very good on the task at hand. Really listening to the clients request and issuing the tasks and making sure everything is fallowed to the letter. I recommend anyone looking for a company should ask this one. They do a great job!!!

We are a general contractor who hired Toersa to guard a major construction site on the evenings and weekends. Our site is adjacent to the downtown core and we had been having issues with trespassers.

Toersa has been very professional and reliable. Always on time, and if there are any minor issues to discuss their management team is very responsive. We have had one incident with trespassers since Toersa has been on site and it was handled perfectly.

I’ve frequently seen Toersa Security providing services at various events around the city, most recently with Comedy festival and Bluesfest. While security teams are often viewed as “the ones who ruin the fun”, it’s important to remember that they’re there to ensure we CAN continue to enjoy these events safely.

I recently attended an event that TORSA was involved in and I half to say what a pleasant experience.The staff seemed well trained and were very efficient doing the bag inspection they were very friendly and respectful with my belongings. Then when I entered the event there was a great sense of safety and all the guards were well groomed and dressed. Also at no point did I see any phones or other distractions preventing them from doing their jobs. The main reason for this post is to highlight the above and beyond commitment of some of the guards.
There was a medical emergency’s and a bold fella in a black shirt was notified of a guest that had past out and was laying on the ground he picked her up and ran her to the medical tent. I also witnessed a guard deescalate a potential volatile situation by just listening and using good communication. From my perspective these guards are excellently trained and just seem to enjoy the business they’re in .
I can tell you I’m sure it’s not for the faint of heart I can only imagine what some of these guards deal with on a day to day. Look forward to more events and look forward to seeing this company more.

The employees of this company use way too much authority. Are not trained properly, shout orders at people. Terrible company. Do not recommend. I can see others who attended the Great Outdoor comedy festival who also had complaints. After looking into the company you only give employees 1/4th of the training which i can support with evidence of previous posts.

This is tragic to see and I hope as a company you can do better and train your employees better so that they know how to properly handle situations.

Toersa offers top of the line security with a broad range of coverage. They efficiently manage the safety and security of even large scale events like Blues Fest. Events like this would not be possible without the skilled and highly trained staff at Toersa Security and we are grateful for their service.

I know, I personally feel safer when an event hires a company like TOERSA Security.

I work in the event industry not only have I hired TOERSA’s services but have also worked with very poor companies.

TOERSA is always top in their field and innovating to stay ahead of the current standards.

When reading the reviews. I always start with the 1 stars. Cause normally (not always but more often than not) it’s customers who didn’t understand what the service or product was that they were hiring.
The services they don’t “like” are normally the services I want the company to offer.

My point this is a security and safety service. If they have to be used it’s cause the situation is not good. Security and safety are at risk. Well that’s why you hire TOERSA. They manage the problems why you as the client focus on the product or event in which you would rather focus on.
